I was checking him out. He’s also had a strong finish in 2024 and that’s always good to see.
Hilton also rarely misses time. In 6 of his 8 NFL seasons he was active for either every game or missed just
1 game. In those other 2 seasons where he missed time? even then he played in 26 of 33 possible contests.

Very consistent and very reliable

I counted 62 names still on that list. Nine more have to be cut. A lot of guys that we thought had a shot at sticking around are history because of the numbers game by position.

Yes. This is something I’ve noticed once we bright Bullard, King and Hobbs in.
We have a plethora of guys that can play Slot in Nickel. Both from the CB group and Safety group.

His saving grace is likely Oliver to PUP but you could be right.

Yep. My guess is we see injury designations for Oliver, Sorrell and Williams, Lloyd (along with Watson). Not sure ?Savion ?Banks also. Might just run with a couple of these guys in the Roster if they are deemed to return in Weeks 2-3 etc.
Then we can play the roster shuffle as needed.

Yeah, I think if there was a plan to have traded Doubs away, before today, it blew up with all the injuries and poor performances. This WR group really isn't as strong as we all were thinking/hoping several months ago.

I also noticed that TE, Fitzpatrick was involved considerably more recently. Wondering if he’s surpassed Sims in pecking order. Often the depth TE is heavily involved in teams, but with Luke back it might be more of who is more valuable on ST

Oh I am not saying that it wasn't predictable as to who would make the final cut, what I was saying was that nobody stepped up to make Doubs expendable or to even push Heath.

Oh sorry I might have not fleshed that out. In a MLF system of preference our 4th/5th and 6th WR don't really see many snaps and with Musgrave healthy and a weapon plus Bo Melton emergency back up I really wouldn't be shocked if Doubs is moved at all...especially if Golden continues to grow but perhaps more so especially if Savion illustrates an ability to not be a detriment on the field.
