Oh sorry I might have not fleshed that out. In a MLF system of preference our 4th/5th and 6th WR don't really see many snaps and with Musgrave healthy and a weapon plus Bo Melton emergency back up I really wouldn't be shocked if Doubs is moved at all...especially if Golden continues to grow but perhaps more so especially if Savion illustrates an ability to not be a detriment on the field.
Only reason I would be shocked is that MLF just said this weekend when asked about around being cut. Basically No that won’t be happening, he’s a hard worker and valuable to this team. Now take it with a grain of salt .. it was about “cut” rumors, not “trade”. However MLF shut the “cut” part down with all but a written guarantee.
Could it happen we trade him? Yes anything is possible.
IMO. Is it likely after that little interaction? My feeling is no way Jose.

Plus with all the injury unknowns, Reed, Savion, Wicks, Watson etc…
Doubs and Golden got the majority of 1st team snaps and it was by a mile. It just adds too much risk imo. 1 more WR injured we’re in a predicament.

Until Reed, Williams and Wicks are healthy and practicing, Golden, Doubs and Heath would be the only 3 healthy WR's on the 53. I think your concerns of Doubs being traded won't ever come to fruition. That is unless, suddenly all 6 guys are healthy, producing and Watson is ready to roll. Then maybe before the trade deadline you see Doubs traded away. Then again, I think he is more valuable to the Packers in 2025 than any future draft pick that another team would be willing to part with, especially on a guy set to become a Free Agent and has concussion history.

Oh if it happens its going to be in 3-5 weeks IMO not this week or today.

I guess if Doubs is content to be a Packer, I prefer seeing what he can do in this his contract year. I think the guy has solid potential and who knows, may be in GB longer than a lot of fans expect.

Not sure if it's been reported on here, but Cox, Wooden, Jennings and Oladapo all made the 53

We are in that normal period where the final moves will be unknown until official release of roster, IR and PUP tomorrow. It bugs me every year.

It does seem numbers wise I'm very confident in those first three have made it but Oladapo was a guy I wasn't sure on personally and there is still some dudes like Brown and Anderson out there too...

Yup....this is that in between period, when guys are still not officially on the 53 until the Packers announce it. Even then it can change with waiver pickups or trades. Even the news of cuts has come to a slow grinding stop since about 2:30.

Plus they need to figure out exactly what they are doing with the injured players.

I want him to be here his whole career :)
You and me both. I did notice that after his TD on Saturday, he seemed kind of glum and rather despondent. Everyone was celebrating and trying to congratulate him, but he chose to not spike the ball, not leap, rather just flip the ball to a ref and kind of walk off the field like it was nothing. Now maybe I am reading more into it and he just wanted to say "No big deal guys, its fricking preseason and I am acting like I have been here before."

Got a solid lead there is a guy that got released elsewhere we are likely to pursue....I'm trying to get a name but the guy ain't giving it. I know it is offense though given our discourse topic.

Isn't that kinda normal for him?

Just seen where Lloyd and Monk were placed on IR Designated to return, so they will miss the first 4 games.

Well, a Seahawk player had just stomped on his head as he was on the ground, so... maybe that?

My hunch is the team hopes to bring Welch and/or Jamon back and use PS elevations if only having four off ball LBs gets depleted

I do feel bad for Welch, that's the 2nd time he was one of the last cut by the Packers, after 2 really good camps
