As long as nothing serious happens to Micah and he’s able to stay somewhat normal level down the last 12+ games or thereabouts. I actually think our D will be better. Maybe not top 5, but top 6-12 area would not surprise me.
I really think it’s as much about how our OL responds to a down season last year.
Walker had a below average grade so Morgan doesn’t need to win the world over, just get some improvement.
Banks was in his transition season, but from what I’m reading he played through injury much of the year, but graded out better to close last season.
Sean Rhyan was thrust into a starting Center role which he hasn’t played since College. It showed early on. It’s not a stretch to say he should improve in his first FULL season.
Belton was.. well Belton. He’s talented and has the size, but he was kind of up n down as a Rookie. He’ll be pushed by Jager and I won’t be shocked if Burton even gets a legit shot at RG. Either way we’ve got good competition there. My guess is Burton starts on our OL at some point in the near future.
Zach Tom was up n down healthy, then injured, then out then in. Too sporadic and when healthy he’s a Stud
I almost can’t see a scenario where GB doesn’t collectively move up the rankings by a tick or two at OL. If that happens I predict our O is in that same top 6-12 ranked ballpark
