ESPN today had us as the "ideal landing spot" for Arkansas QB Taylen Green and had him going in the 5th round.

Basically the gist of it is that with LaFleur we've liked to keep athletic backup QBs and guys who can beat you with their legs and Green's an extremely athletic QB prospect and a dangerous runner. They figure (like we have in the past) we would go run heavy and give him a lot of reps carrying the ball rather than asking him to do a ton with his arm.
That would be disappointing for me, if the Packers spend a 5th round pick on developmental QB. As long as Love stays healthy, he is the Packers QB for at least 4 more years. Odds are you can't get a 5th round pick to the Practice Squad and thus either have to give him the backup job on the roster or have 3 QB's on the roster.
