Week 3 at the Browns pregame thread

It's aged fine considering it was pointing out a faulty premise to begin with

Im not twisting anything. My point is every bit as valid as when I made it and Sunday didnt do anything that points in the other sides favor.

So if you'd like to point out how my post about how there hasnt been some big drop in offensive production between the halves it didnt age well based on Sunday by all means im all ears

Everyone who knows anything about Football (which is most of us) knows GB lost 2 starting OL in the first Half and the Cleveland D has allowed less yards per Play/Drive than any team in the NFL through 12 Quarters And is the #1 Run Defense through 3 games. The All Powerful Ravens duo of Henry and Lamar just rushed 13 X 35yds or 2.7 per carry. That doesn’t strike me as very good but is Derrick Henry washed up? 21 Runs for 45 yards? Are the Ravens putrid?

That coupled with 8 Packer penalties in the 4th Qtr not including 1 on the winning FG that was declined. Then coupled with a near Pick6 and a likely game winning blocked FG inside 3.5 minutes. GB played 2 opponents, Cleveland and Themselves

I just don’t put too much weight in 1 Bad Offensive performance this early in a season. Just like I don’t start predicting a Super Bowl Victory before we play 3 games. Too early and it’s highly likely GB had Tom and Banks back healthy for our Bengals Game 5.
Only thing that matters is keeping our head above water and going 3-1 at Dallas while our O gets a break next week with 2 weeks rest.

Yes. No games are going to be a gimme. That’s why Matt was so irritated by guys talking SB or undefeated or whatnot. It simply a matter of going 1-0 and getting a Win.
That said I think it’s ok to say that we are a more complete team than Dallas. That doesn’t imply to take them lightly. It’s at their house and we’d better bring our A game.
