What about a 40/60 ball? I went to one once. Guys dress in 40s attire and the gals dress in 60s attire, music and dancing is a mixture or both eras. My date was not happy. Turns out it was my friend's grandfather's funeral, I just read the invite wrong.

Is there a difference in Amish music between generations? I thought it was all the same from the past 150 years.

Yes. The Word on the dirt street is the music is still near-Renaissance mixed with a flair of revival dance moves. Near perfect for a funeral
