I'm not sure what's funnier - that the tweet says the Ravens got the RB they needed or that we got a 7th rounder.

2 roster spots open......who's taking them? Kerrige and Looney? Can't contain my excitement.

Perhaps Gute is loading up on picks to get someone else?

Trade deadline ended 17 minutes ago, unless it just isn't being reported yet, that's it.

feels like a win-win, sunday afternoon notwithstanding. he was unhappy with his playing time/role and should lead to more carries for AJ.

This is a classic addition by subtraction...Team will be better of without
1. HAHA...guy couldn't tackle and had no ball skills... replace will be better
2. Ty...other 2 RB's will get more touches with having to give Ty his few 6 + snaps per game.
The only part missing was to replace Zook!

Nm then Im back to being mystified about the Dix trade.
Didn't want to re-sign him after this year so would've (maybe) gotten a 2020 comp pick... chose to take a 2019 4th rounder instead. The coaches must think they've got an adequate replacement plan so why not?

The Packers are a half game behind the division leading Bears. There's no reason to be sellers at the trade deadline.

Trust me, you would figure it out pretty fast if the Packers trade him.

The Packers trading Perry or Graham would result in an additional cap hit.
Looks like we were “sellers” after all.

And here ends the jinxed 2015 draft class!

Jake Ryan is still limping along ;) Whether he is back in GB next year or not, probably isn't important enough though to not declare the 2015 draft wasted and gone.

Not sure where else to put this and didn't feel like starting an entire topic on a hypothetical scenario based on next year's draft but I really like PFF's recent mock draft of the first round: Packers get DE Josh Allen from Kentucky (amazing pass rusher) and LB Te'Von Coney out of Notre Dame who I have no clue about but I always like a guy with an apostrophe in their name. Basically, I love the idea of getting Allen and an apostrophe in the first round.

I think it's a forgone conclusion, it's over. Ryan was barely hanging on, I think we have 2 guys easily out playing him now not named Martinez.

More TT moves paying back big dividends. We just turned a 1st rd pick into a 4th and a 3rd rounder into a seventh, and people are happy about it, thanks again Ted!!!
