Cowboys trading for Bengals' LB Logan Wilson
Ravens trading for Titan's edge Dre'Mont Jones
Jakobi Myers going from Raiders to the Jags for a fourth and sixth
Jets sending Sauce Gardner to the Colts for two first rounders...Also seems AD Mitchell WR was sent to the Jets too.

Jets trading Quinnen Williams to the Cowboys

Browns trading DE Joe Tryon-Shoyinka and a seventh rounder to the Bears for a 6th in return

Dallas just traded for DT Quinnen Williams. Also obviously acquired a LB Logan Wilson recently. Pushing all their chips in on D

Word is they're trading their 2nd this year and 1st next year (And I am hearing it is THEIR 1st next year, not the one they acquired from us)

This year's draft is past I assume you're speaking they are getting two firsts (split between 26' and 27' not both they have for 26')?

Do we think Gute will make any significant moves?

That's too subjective to say, he made his massive swing trade with Parsons...we don't have the equity for significant moves in the sense of big ones to most people.

But even a Day3 for a Jeremy Ruckert or a Rasul Douglas smaller cost trade could be significant.

I assume we will hold tight.

Sorry I meant their 2nd round pick in the upcoming draft (2026) and then a 1st the following year (2027). but that's just the buzz, will be interested to hear confirmation

Hopefully they start like when we had 8 Day 1 selections on our Defense but couldn’t break Top 10 :) lol
Entirely different, those were not all in the same year's draft. Imagine having like 8 top 100 picks. You hit on just half of those in a big way, you're teams projection for years shifts.

No joke I really think that is a great deal for the Jets. Mazi could become something and you get two top shelf picks. Excellent return.

Sure. I will say though that it’s likely the Colts selection in 2026 won’t be a Top 20 selection. Kinda get in iffy territory there. They have a pair of 2nd Rounders but no 3rd. The Dallas 2nd Round selection could easily be RD2(49)etc. My guess is Dallas will finish at least close to .500 or better. Wilson and Williams are substantial players there.
hard to predict 2027 but could see another Day 1 from Dallas or Indi (or meaning possible both also) in the 20’s overall.

Not suggesting these are not worthy draft collateral by sheer volume. The Jets real equity is if they tank and get a #1 or #2 selection. It’ll be fun on Draft day though

I fully understand where the picks are, incredible value IMO.

Rapoport is reporting that for the Jets-Cowboys deal, the Jets will get whichever of Dallas' first round picks in 2027 are higher (Dallas or GB, either one)

Interesting.

I was just thinking the Cowboys are going all in to repair this defense. This one hopefully means they now hsve our #32 :whistling:

As it stands if Dallas improves their record some (likely) its looking at a Teens Day1 and later Day 1 selection. In 2026. But lost a 2nd RD selection.

Then in 2027 Dallas likely selects 1 X in later Day 1 to start things out.

The Dallas D should take on a new look with Clark, Wilson and Williams though.

Sure. It’s probably a good idea to scrap plan A when you’re 1-7! Seriously though you’d have a field day before the draft. Wake up drooling on your pillow dreaming of Picks.

I don’t see this anywhere so allowance if it’s duplicated.
So reports from Matt Schneidmann that the Packers are in play on Asante Samuel Jr. by first attempting to bring him here for a visit or physical before committing. However his camp wanted to wait until Trade deadline ended so as not to limit him from any other suitors. It’ll be interesting to see if we land him. I would imagine others have inquired also but apparently his former position Coach and Coordinator, Derrick Ansley, is now the Pass Game Coordinator in Green Bay.
