The last time burnett stepped on da field, Randall and Rollins were completely unproven. Haha was believed to need to work on his tackling. (which I never agreed with) now he is a tackling machine! The dline was half suspended or considered ineffective. And our lbs weren't sacking everything in sight.....
Much has changed. Losing burnett was hard to handle for a young secondary like ours. They rose to the occasion. Now that we have stablized and thrived. Getting burnett back could put us over the top.

I think Burnett has been missed more so than other defensive players. The "back half D" operates much, much better with Burnett running the show.

With burnett out, Clinton dix has led the team in tackles. 7 more than the next guy. Randall has earned a starting cb job. .. Big jumps. Burnetts direction and pro bowl calliber play is going to be noticable right away imo. With the rest of the team playing so well. Burnett could have the freedom to play All over like woodson did the year he won dpoy.
