Surprise Cut this year..

Before camp even starts, throw out a name or two that you guess might be cut.

Bubba,KGB,Fergy are bubbles already...

My guess would be Cole, DT. Kevin Barry being another one.

Yup....i agree with Barry being on the edge. If he doesn't come out gang busters, he will be gone.

I agree, Morency will not be cut. But to say he's a proven back I believe is a stretch. I think he's the closest thing we have to a proven back, but I can't say he's proven.

With all due respect, I think the Packers have a better shot of bringing in LaDainian Tomlinson via trade than Blackmon getting cut...he's probably got the inside track at the nickel spot this year than anyone else. He's on the 53 man roster...lock it down.

Errr... they just signed Clowney, Blackmon is the 2nd coming, and Morency is their only above average RB they have.

None are getting cut.

My vote goes to Kevin Barry as well. He's just too fat.

I agree, Williams is more dynamic than Cole in my opinion, so I hope he wins the roster spot. With the Harrell pick and Jenkins being able to slid in and play the inside spots... I just think that they might try to squeeze the roster around the DT. Just a guess.

I'd say surprise cut for me would be KGB.

We really have no other proven DE. I guess Corey Williams could slide over, but still I don't think he is a good fit at DE in a 4-3.

I think he's got a good shot at making the final 53 because he made a good impact on ST last year. We need to desperately improve that area, and bringing back the best player on ST from last year will probably help do that.

I wouldn't be surprised if Hodge got cut. Notwithstanding his TD vs. the Seattle, he was really awful in his only real action last year.

To sort of echo some of the earlier comments-
With so many fans expecting it, if Barry is cut that won't be much of a surprise either.

Draft choice Mason Crosby not beating out Dave Raynor would be a bit of a surprise even if he was selected in the 6th round.

Marquand Manuel getting cut would be a bit of an eye opener. NFL GM's like TT usually don't admit to their mistakes and certainly not this quickly.

Personally I think Rob Davis' days are numbered. Great guy who hustles on every play but I think the days of having a roster spot for a LS are over.

Samkon was a good story but he isnt better then Morency and he is flat out even way worse if he would be put into our system.
