Banks proved to be nothing but a placemarker at LG. We need to start looking for a way to unload his contract. He’s a complete swing and Miss for $19mil annual.

Only good news is Banks and Dobbs are both modest to lower guaranteed. Banks is a tough hard hit at $6.75mil dead. Yet he frees up $18Mil? (OTC)
I’d send him packing the second this season is over.

Neither is likely going anywhere but would understand if they did….if we do could do a Post June release…

Look at the defensive production shift once he was injured tho….and even before that Wyatt.

When you gamble on BIG pieces…it can pay big or cost big.
Good news is we should have Wyatt back next year. I’d still be looking for another DT in FA after this season to pair with him. We did technically lose Kenny and then Devonte off of last years unit. We need an upgrade iDL and especially if someone injures again.

Cooper regressed this year. He just didn't make any plays. I have to say I didn't see that coming. Is that just bad coaching ? He was so dynamic as a rookie that I just didn't see any way he could regress so badly this year.

As if things aren't bad enough, Peacock absolutely sucks rocks. The picture quality is the worst I've seen in years (half the time, I can't even make out the players' numbers), and the image keeps freezing in the middle of the play for several seconds. This is a total waste of money.
They did you a favor.

I haven't had any trouble with it. I just don't think they have a lot of content.
Yeah, there isn't much. One of the reasons I signed up was to get the Apple TV bundle, and watch Masters of The Air and Greyhound, but I can't log into the Apple account. So that was a waste.

Pretty disappointed with the whole experience, really.

Ok. I know GB will try to salvage him. Yet Banks plays like a guy you find in FA for $5Mil-7mil annual. We can’t afford to keep him unless he takes a hard restructure imo. I’m not saying we won’t try to save face though and pretend likes he’s really dynamic. lol

Probably have to look at 2. Forget the other positions. No run defense is a death warrant.

So now what do we do? We pushed all in… do we hope and pray next year that Matt pulls his head out of his kiester?

Why would Melton get that call in the middle and not Golden?
I have absolutely no answer to why Bo is out there on Offense. I get he’s a Return guy emergency for Savion, but WR on a critical drive??
We had Watson, Doubs, Reed, Wicks, Golden. Why in the world are we playing our emergency WR7?? just dumbfounded.

Bo is getting preferential treatment over preferred starters on a critical drive? If he’s our best option we’re in big big trouble that I never realized.

He had 3 tackles and 5 assists tonight, and made at least 2 key stops to prevent a big gain - one a shoestring tackle of Henry who was breaking down the sideline, and another in the backfield (I think that was Henry too). He already has 30 more combined tackles than he had all last season (about a 30% increase). He's making a difference, although I'll admit his play doesn't just seem to jump out at you the way it did last year, week after week.

He's putting up some quiet numbers.

Other than week 1, this team never really looked like a contender. They never put teams away, were embarrassed by bad teams like the Browns and could usually only muster one ot two good quarters of football before losing their focus and intensity.

Just a mediocre football team.

I felt prior to Parsons this team was a year away, then we went all in with Parsons, then he’s gone. If we play the Bears (I hope), thats our Super Bowl. I like our team going forward with Wyatt Parsons and Kraft back on the field. I’m no huge MLF fan but I don’t know if that change is warranted. Maybe you let him coach for a contract next year. … oh wait… “we’ve never done that before in Green Bay”…. We’ve never traded away 2 first round picks either (in the last 50 years)

That's the problem. He needs to be a difference maker. He has the talent. We've seen it.

GB will need in Free Agency a Veteran IDL and I’m not talking these bargain bin types. I’m talking a legitimate, Bonafide DL that can float between 0T-3T. Similar to Jaylen Reed from Seattle a few years ago, but a slight upgrade up from him.
Then draft BOTH at LG AND Center by RD4 area. Then either flip Rhyan to RG or find his replacement.

RD2 LG/OC
RD3 CB
RD4 OC/LG

Ditch Banks and use his Cap towards an established Veteran iDL and mid tier veteran CB

Wicks was ruled out. Had Malik been in there it changes the whole picture. And even with those receivers you might look at a TE there.

This fanbase by the numbers is always clamoring we don’t do big swings…well now we did to get Parsons, experienced massively critical injuries to arguably over half our top 8 or 10 guys on the entire roster….and had some of our deficiencies show themselves throughout the season…

Now that same fanbase cannot be mad if all of that isn’t able to be fixed - especially with zero Day1 pick…

Good news is solid to good DL can and are found on day 2 of the draft. Outside Corners also can be had but for sure hurts not having a first rounder for that position especially.

OL help should come in the form of health and natural progression but also poor man FA and/or later rounds in the draft likely too.

I broke down fiscally what we could do and have a massive amount of spending cash for resignings of guys if we want or targeting others.

It would be a massive challenge to handle it with Parsons out but I think my breakdown of potentially walking from Gary is more and more likely the way he simply cannot move or produce any longer.

They’ll have to agree to terms with Rhyan first as he’s a FA. I do think there is more chance he is resigned than Rasheed Walker at this point:

Simply not true. Pittsburgh, majority of both Bears games and many would argue Denver even.

The first round picks aren't that big of a deal. Gute has misfired on his first round picks with 2 exceptions.

It's going to take Wyatt, Kraft and Parsons time to adjust from their injuries. I wouldn't assume they will hit week 1 of 2026 running at their peak. Maybe, but that's a huge ask.

The Packers added Parsons and got worse. That's hard to do so I doubt that a few off-season tweaks is all that's needed to turn the franchise around to the point that they can compete for a championship.
