Here’s a weird One.

In 2024 finish.

1. Lions
2. Vikings
3. Packers
4. Bears

Packers go 1-5 in Division
Our sole Loss was Chicago

So far in 2025

1. Bears
2. Packers
3. Vikings
4. Lions

Lions are facing 1-5 in the Division if they don’t beat the Bears.
The sole Loss would be Chicago.

THAT is about the only reason I’d play Goff in Week 18, if I’m Dan finishing last is not an option.

My concern. Willis was on the injury report. The shoulder issues--isn't his right shoulder his throwing shoulder?
It is. That is why when he got hit last week the staff told him to throw on the sideline immediately to prevent stiffening.

His shoulder is ok, he was on the injury list for the illness running thru the locker room.
That might explain Malik’s interview from a couple days ago. He seemed ..melancholy? When he says I’m “day to day” boy did I believe he’s telling the truth! I think the flu has been running through the lockerroom I’m about positive on that.

He also indicated that he plans on being ready to go. But even he cannot control that.

I like your thinking @rmontro. Merry Christmas btw! Blessings upon you and yours for a strong finish and a better 2026.

Not that I ever want an injury for either team. Yet it’s becoming more likely that it’s Love vs Huntley. While Huntley has been an adequate backup, it’s still a strict disadvantage for Baltimore. They’d be going on the road with a backup QB.

It’s time to punch our ticket. Then watch Chicago to either rest players as a 7th.. or play for a #3 seed by way of a Division Winner.
Do the Bears have a shot at the #1 seed? If so they won't be resting anyone who can play.

Ahhh...someone who is thinking ahead and planning for the future. While the coaches have to focus on this season, we do need people who are looking ahead if we want to remain a top team and add the core of players we already have.
Isn't that what Gute should be doing- planning for the future?

Hey you might want to play the lottery this week! I could play your dance even further. GB wins the Division and other teams get risky and play their QB’s in meaningless games and after next preseason 1/2 the starting QB’s are on IR. GB goes on to a perfect season and wins 20-0. This is fun!

Let’s just start by Winning tonight and then I’ll freely jump in your dance that Goff plays 4Q of a meaningless game. I say that, but truly the Lions may not want to finish dead last in the North and MN holds the Tiebreaker so there’s maybe that being used as something to play for.
Meaningless in terms of making the playoffs. Not meanigless in terms of team pride, team morale, supporting each other thru thick snd thin, building a cohesive atmosphere in the locker room, dealing with a disapointing season like men, each taking ownership of their mistakes and looking to do better next year. Should I go on?

I would like to see Golden as a go to guy for once. I'd like to see him as the primary target. I just don't feel like I've gotten much of a chance to see him work. And don't believe that he just can't get open. He should be more in the mix imho.

I was able to get free Peacock sub though my Spectrum cable subscription.

I really need to talk to my Wife about that VeeSee Box LTF is suggesting.

The Packers take on The Ravens at home on Saturday night on Peacock. If anyone doesn't have peacock you got time to hopefully nab a free trial to watch the game. Or have other dubious methods...
Evidently they no longer offer free trials. I've been told that to get the game, I need the Premium Plus package, which is 16.99. They offer a bundle that includes Apple TV for another 3 bucks, so I'm going to spend big and get that. Then I can binge-watch "Masters of The Air" at least twice in the next month, and "Greyhound" a couple of times too. I'll get my money's worth.

I'm 100% with you. I know we have a lot of targets, and only one football, but he's really being under-used in my opinion. He has only 27 receptions in 12 games and 376 offensive snaps, and going into Week 17 he has yet to drop a single pass by my count - not one drop, and if I remember correctly, he didn't drop one in preseason either.

This guy's too talented to waste on decoy routes.

Oh I never said both couldn’t be true. You just interpreted one of many posts I’ve made on topics of playing or not playing. In doing so you took 1 post out of its full context and it probably appeared to you that I took a hard stance on resting players.

I even agree with some of those things. It can be a very dangerous mentality to finish soft. In Detroit in particular this will still determine if they are above .500 or not.

There’s some within the organization that feel this game will determine the future of either Coordinator or a small minority thinking possibly even Dan Campbell. Personally I think the OC is on the hot seat after that season. Ok they lost Sam, their TE, but they have the majority of their Offense suited up and they are struggling to score 10 points.

I'm pretty sure you just need Premium, not Premium Plus, to get the game. Plus gives you ad free. But enjoy whatever you get. I'm only keeping mine another month, most likely. IMO, Peacock doesn't give you much bang for the buck, unless you're a huge fan of NBC and don't get broadcast TV.

We got a bundle package of Netlix, Apple TV and Peacock for a decent price thru our cable provider down here (Xfinity). We can cancel it at any time. We might keep it until after the Olympics.

Curse word, curse word, can’t watch Packers Ravens until tonight for replay, curse word again.
The NFL is really becoming a money squeezer. I believe this Packer-Raven game was originally a Sunday 3:25 game on the regular network. They move it to Saturday night on Peacock. They get a smaller viewing audience because only so many have Peacock. But they force the diehards to buy in for a price. Even most bars and restaurants will not subscribe for just a handful of games.

No Stackhouse again! How do you like that? Is he that bad? If we lose this one you have to play him next week some. The game won't matter.

The bad thing is about getting squeezed by the NFL is that I got the peacock channel but no game, just nightly news,
