Rookie Denis-Sutton should get more snaps than the usual 4th round pick.

He's an interesting prospect to be sure.

I'm always interested to see if the second-year players take a leap, such as Barryn Sorell, to name one.

I don't remember when it happened, but AP returned to play just a few days past the 8-month anniversary of the injury I think. And I think he had just over 2k yards the season he returned. That's mind boggling.

I'm pretty sure most if not all NFL teams require a minimum of 9 months away from football.

Guys today are just better athletes, and the guys to come will be better than the guys today. Changes in medical and surgical science also play a part. But in the good ol' days, and ACL tear usually meant 1 year, at a minimum, away from football.

Agreed. Adrian Peterson's recovery is an outlier. It can not and should not ever be used a benchmark for comparison. It would be like shaming your kids after a 5-mile bike ride because they didn't have the stamina of Greg LeMond.

I sincerely hope that most of the PUP guys are just the team being cautious (obviously Kraft and Parsons are a different story here). Not including those two we have 9 guys on PUP, some of which are supposed to contribute pretty heavy this year

I guess that I wasn't aware of injuries to Musgrave, Hargrave, and Banks. Does anyone know what their injuries are?

I think the that was a misprint. Banks is referring to backup prospect, Tackle Brant Banks, not to be crossed with Guard Aaron Banks.

I think Hargrave and Musgrave are minor injuries leftover OTA’s. Call it PUP (veteran rest). We can remove them at any time so it’s often just a designation until it’s not. Now if you go into Final cuts that’s another story I think they can practice after just 2 weeks now but held out for 4 weeks if they stay on PUP to start the season.

Aside from Parsons who we know was going to be on PUP, Were a long ways from those final determinations imo.

He got hurt on Christmas Eve and was Comeback Player of the Year the next season. I can only conceive that he channeled the ghost of Reggie White.

That’s good. Banks having a good come back year will make me feel much better about this Oline.

Heard musgrave has a neck injury from mini camp. Concerning.

There are some accomplishments/records that just aren't meant to be broken - thinking of DiMaggio's 54-game hitting streak, and maybe Brady's career accomplishments. I'm sure there are other examples. AP's recovery was special because it showed that he was 1) freakishly talented and 2) freakishly focused on his game, including the thankless job of rehabbing a major injury.

I seen Carolina had 4 out so far. LB ACL, WR LCL, OT blood clots will miss start of season. And OT “knee”

Walker went to Carolina. They were short on Oline already if I remember right. When I was reading about walker.

The Vikings only chance to beat the Packers in that playoff was AP. Without him there was no chance. And as it turned out QB Christian Ponder got hurt late that same game and the Vikings had to start Joe Webb in the loss to the Packers.

Ya know he could still sue. AP was on the sideline right after the game and when the reporter told him how close he was he was so surprised. I think the coach ( Childress ? ) just wanted a win and get in. We beat them the following week anyhow.
But what led to all this was the Fail Mary early in the season. Had we rightfully won that game in Seattle we have a bye WK 1 and I am not sure how we play the season finale in Minny.

I agree. If Nix doesn't get injured, it's the Broncos in the SB, not NE. And it probably would have been a much better SB.
