Two playoff teams in 5 days and 2 Ws.
That's the first time this has ever happened - no team has ever started the season 2-0 against 2 playoff teams. And these were both 12-win teams last year, as well.

Now a well deserved 10 days.
And badly needed, too. We've got some pretty banged-up troops out there.

Daniels took a big shot to the legs by Bullard, last night. Just saw that he had a knee MRI, today. Daniels was seen limping after a tackle later in the 4th quarter, but replayed showed him rolling his left ankle on that play. This game may have a huge impact on the Commander's season.

Was this on a pass rush or as a runner?

Runner. Daniels was looking back at a pursuing Parsons when Bullard drilled him in the thigh area upending Daniels. Imho it was this play that may have injured Daniels rather than the Enagbare twisting tackle with 4 minutes left.

Ouch I saw that. We talked about this pre game with a Running QB we if anyone should know how dangerous it is. I’d even reference Life crashing into players after getting a 1st Down. Save that stuff for postseason. Slide or run out of bounds. It’s part of the recipe of discipline and living to see another day. Now if it’s the last play of a game for the Win I get it. That or a Super-bowl and you want to go John Elway on us? So be it.
I like Jayden but even so, I Never want to see our opponent injured. Not even a little bit. If there’s anything I’ve learned this week.. it’s to respect our opponent. Football or Outside of Sports.

True, but there were 7 days between games in '07. This 2025 "historical" feat was that it happened Sunday-Thursday, only 4 days apart.
And the 2007 expectations were very low at the start. 2006 was like 8-8. We were underdogs both weeks I believe. We were said to have no running game. Ahman Green went to Houston. And Favre and Driver had a lot of young kids on the roster. We beat Philly with a game ending FG in Crosby's first game after a late turnover. Even Favre was surprised we handled the Giants on the road. That season was filled with some fantastic finishes. The lows were the two regular season losses to the Bears, a Thursday defeat in Dallas with Favre getting hurt, and of course, blowing the Title game in Green Bay after being given a reprieve from going down to Dallas.
