My friend who owns the seats brings his official 18 inch ruler so if he gets squeezed he has a tool to measure his territory. A couple years ago the seat to my right was filled by a guy the size of the Illinois governor. He told me I would not have any wiggle room. A couple days later I had a bad cold.
I'm one of those "wide-bodied" types. I know I exceed my 18" and I don't really care to be honest. The 18" wide seat is a travesty to be honest. They need to revaluate the seat sizes. The problem is, the seating capacity goes down proportionately based on the width of the seats. If they changed it from 18" to 22", they would lose a lot of seats. In fact, they would lose a lot. They'd go from 81,441 capacity down to 66,633.

When my wife and I fly, I like to book well in advance, and try to find an airline that has a two-seat configuration on one side of the aisle for my wife and myself. That gives me a little extra room and we don't cause any concerns for others. Also, when it comes to seating arrangements when the plane isn't full, I ask them at check in if they want to put my wife and I in any row where I won't be squeezing out the person next to me. They oblige when possible. My recliner at home is 22" wide, my office chair is 22" and I drive a Honda Pilot for the seating room. I find it difficult getting behind the wheel of most cars. There just isn't enough room.

That's what happens when you weigh about 300#.

When I saw the Packers play at Arrowhead in KC the seats were phenomenal. Very comfortable. Not bleacherlike. I sat next to a big farm boy from Bama. But it was no problem. Even my wife raved about the seats and she complains about everything.

The Stadium is still there for the most part. It's North of Green Bay East High School. It's their home field for football games. Every game played there keeps the heritage alive.

The picture is what it looks like today and the link is to the aerial view of Green Bay East High School and the stadium. Of course, the old wooden bleachers have since been replaced. Lots of changes but the field is still played on today.

Go due south 13 miles then 1 mile east and there is my house.

My family is tall. My dad and both of my brothers are well over 6ft and even my mom was a hair taller than me. I'm 5'8", the runt of the family. While I sucked at family basketball games and reaching things in the tall cupboards, I've learned to embrace my size disadvantage. I don't hit my head on things very often, my feet don't hang over the end of the bed, and I fit quite comfortably into most airplane seats. However, even I find some of the airline seats in coach to be too small.

Lambeau is just fine. Even when the seating is tight especially on a cold day, it's best to just embrace the human warmth created by tight quarters.

So basically, if I have all the facts I’ve read today, buying a Super Bowl ticket cost approximately $1,000 per inch of Derrière space. Good to know! Thanks
