That game was played at Soldier Field, right? That was the SB season for the Packers. They started from the lowest seed and put together three road wins, the last in Chicago. Great game. I think Julius Peppers was still a Bear.
That was the BJ game. And of course, Sam Shields.

I remember that! Raji had a pic six I think. He was one of the best NTs to play in GB. Great game! Great SB!

And I think Jay Cutler, one of GB's MVPs himself, took himself out at halftime because he had a hang nail, or some BS excuse. That guy was/is a total loser. But he helped GB win a lot of games against the Bears.

Strained mcl. He probably could've played, but he would've had no lateral movement......and...... Sweet baby smoking Jay just don't care.

That game brings back another Caleb. Caleb Haney. He played the 2nd half for the Bears. Did throw a few picks but for a 3rd string QB off the bench he did OK. Cutler got hit hard in the first half.

Just watched the first half detroit dallas. It's pretty amazing how many chunk plays both of these teams can make

Caleb Haney! I remember the name Haney, I think it was a character name on Green Acres or one of those corny shows from the 60s.

Cutler did take a hard hit, and CW said to was an MCL sprain or strain. Admittedly those are painful, but I think any QB in a game like that would do everything to get back in the game.

And yeah you're right, for a 3rd string QB coming in under those circumstances, I remember Haney played well enough to keep it close. I think the Packers won on a late TD throw from Rodgers to Cobb.

I missed the game. Sure looked like a shootout. And yeah, both of these teams can score quickly. I watched the Detroit OT win against the Giants. Never should have gone to overtime, but regardless, Gibbs took it to the house on the Lions' first possession in OT.

Packers are 2-0-1 against these teams. That was a rare defensive flop by GB against Dallas.

The worst thing from that game where Caleb Haney actually played OK for a third string quarterback was the back up Todd Collins probably had the worst three series I've ever seen from a Bears quarterback and that's saying something because I've seen a lot of horrific quarterback play, but if Caleb Haney gets those three extra drives, maybe we win but it's all moot it happened. It's over and hopefully our new coach and quarterback won't let anything like that ever happen again.

It was a close game, so a lot of things could have affected the outcome.

The game on Sunday will be close as well, I think...... I still see the Packers winning 27-20. They handled Detroit, they can handle Chicago.

Aaron played with tibial plateau fracture and a sprained MCL vs Bears in 2018 - and led come back down 20- 3?
I remember that game, early in the season I think. Didn't know the nature of Rodgers' injuries, but he could have stayed out. That's just not what elite QBs do. And Cutler wasn't anywhere near "elite" - in talent or ambition. He had no personality - an extremely unlkeable guy.

Dallas was all but eliminated here. Their playoff chances at 6-6-1 dropped substantially. Like into single digits. The only thing they’ll accomplish going forward is moral comfort and worsening their draft stock.

Detroit double-teamed Pickens, and when Lamb went out in 2nd quarter (I think) Dallas was left throwing to TE Ferguson. Good game plan, poor adjustments by the Cowgirls.

Haney owned the farm that Oliver Douglas bought in Green Acres.
But, yeah, we got 2 first half TDs by Rodgers and Starks. The Bears got within a score and then Raji made a pick 6. They got within a TD and started moving down field. Haney had to launch a desperation throw but Sam Shields made the game ending INT.

That pic 6 by Raji stil amazes me. I think he made the pic at the 5 yard line, so he didn't have far to run.

I'm fine with that. After that crazy game we played with them, I don't care to play them again.

Yeah I didn't see the Cowboys and Packers play, but have seen the Cowboys play against the Eagles and KC. Damn, the Cowboys looked good - and why not, with Prescott, Lamb and Pickens as arguably the best QB/WR group in the NFL?

Their dismal start doomed them. And that's fine w me as well.

Does not look good for them unless Philly collapses and they win their last 4.
Yeah the loser of the Detroit/Dallas game was unlikley to make the playoffs. The Lions will probably get in, but they are a long way from the team that got a bye last year. They've been hot and cold all season. Even so, they won't be an easy out if they do make the playoffs.

Cowboys have some things to fix but they are talented. Next year they should be contending for the division with Philly. And they have a kicker every team would love to have.
