That's the only Packer game that I've attended (in Detroit). It was ten years ago last week. We had seats in the club section on the goal line closest to where Richard Rodgers made the catch. With all of the leaping, big bodies, and hands in the air we couldn't see who caught the ball. We figured it out when the Packers bench swarmed the field. Aside from the scattered Packers fans celebrating, it was as if the air had been sucked out of Ford Field.

I like this NFL Films video as it is practically the view that I had, seeing the spinning ball descend from the rafters toward the end zone. The poor Lions defenders were all too deep in the end zone. The NFL Films video (below) was blocked from posting.

It was not the best season for Rodgers and the Pack but were in the postseason.

It was not the best season for Rodgers and the Pack but were in the postseason.
The Packers started poorly going down 17-0 after the first quarter, but outscored the Lions 27-6 in the second half for the last play 27-23 win. Detroit were 11-5 in 2014, but this Thursday night loss dropped their record to 4-8. They finished 7-9. I suspected that Rodgers had been fighting off some nagging injuries that season, as he didn't look as sharp.

Please check your scores for accuracy. There may be mistakes in the above calculations. If there are any discrepancies in scoring requiring correction please let me know. I will forward them to the accounting firm of Pleasant, Funt & O'Farrell (PFO) who will audit your request. They really will.

The battle for the 180 point season end bonus for most correct picks tightened up a little this week. @Voyageur currently has a one game lead over @AmishMafia . If the season ended tonight Voyageur would edge out AM for the top spot.

No bingos for week 14, however, there were 4 spread bingos, including three Monday night when the Chargers topped the Eagles by 3 in OT.
Amish Mafia has 14 spread bingos so far this season, three more than his nearest competitor.

I'll put out the week 15 blurb later today.

I congratulate y'all on a hard **** win. The moderators can delete my account. I will never post here again because I've given my last ounce of energy to this team until they win three Super Bowls in five years if they do that, I'll be a fan again till that they can all die horrible deaths...... because that's what they've done to me every Sunday for 40 years a slow Chinese water, torture, death and I'm done. I don't care if we win into Sundays and win the Super Bowl. They need two more before I will ever publicly state that I'm a fan again I'm done with this team. I hope the stadium implodes.
Quit being a little B***ch. I've been a Vikings fan since 1966. Man up. Either you are a fan of your team, or you are not. Fans don't abandon their team when they lose. Can you imagine many fans would have left the Packers in the '70s? I don't know of one.

Hey! I resent that! I am in Michigan (Upper Peninsula), about 210 miles north of Green Bay and a die hard Packer fan since the days of Starr, Gregg, Willie Davis, Willie Wood etc... We do have modern communications here! LOL
I think Steve Mariucci was from your neck of the woods.

I'm not sure. Lacey had 5 carries for 4 yards. The Packers had little run success that game.

2015 was the year Jordy went down in preseason. So we signed James Jones again who was a step slower. All we had was 2nd year Davante, Janis, and Abbredidas at wide out. Even without including Richard Rodgers Hail Mary catch he had the most yards receiving that night. Lacy and Starks only had about 9 carries total. We put in a Dakota back named John Crockett who had 5 carries. I do not think ARod was hurt. I think it was just one of those years and we were hungover from that horrible finish in 2024.

Adams, ironically, had a super playoff game against Dallas in 2014. Took one to the house a long way. And also break a tackle on 3rd down and took us over midfield. Rodgers was sold on him. 2015 was not so good. Had Jordy been able to play that year it would have taken a lot of pressure off him.
