I didn't get a chance to watch much football this weekend. I had no idea how it would end up. There was a lot of solid competitors this year and to win it took a lot of luck. It could have been anyone who was competing who could have done it.

I enjoyed this year's competition. It was a great distraction for me late in the year, with my wife being in an ICU unit in first one, and now a second hospital, for nearly 2-1/2 months. With God's will, she is improving slowly. It's one step at a time coming back from what looked like the end of our nearly 61 years of being married.

I want to thank Cheddar for doing such a great job again. It's nice knowing we have someone out here who can take on a responsibility like this and keep it highly competitive and fun for everyone to compete. We owe you a real debt of gratitude. Have you got something cooked up for the playoffs?

To Amish in particular, you deserved to win as much as me, maybe more, and it was amazing coming down to the last game like that. I was on the fence in picking this one. I went with the Steelers because they have Rodgers. There's just something about him during his career that says he doesn't let the big ones slip away all that often.

I can hardly wait for next year. It's going to be a tight race again with a lot of potential winners.

Prayers to your wife.

I had Pittsburgh but changed at last second because of the DK Metcalf was out. I forgot and was silently cheering for Pittsburgh.
Wife's has family playing for the Ravens so I had to be careful.

But you did a great job coming on strong at the end and made it very exciting. Congrats!

Too bad you missed all the football! The Packer-Viking game was a classic for the ages and I would recommend to anyone who missed it to watch it in its entirety. With that said I give you more credit than that. The last 2 seasons prove you were no flash in the pan. You were right there and consistent each and every week. !!

From an entertainment standpoint it's incredible how the NFL has engineered a game which can have so much drama when the clock is running down in the fourth quarter. By extension to that, our contest had just as much drama, being decided by the fateful Loop right at the end of regulation. (The poor guy).

Once again, a thumbs up to you guys who send your picks in every week.

It is my sincere hope that Mrs. V will be out of hospital in the near future. Our prayers. It's incredible how well Voyageur did this season considering what was happening.

Oh yeah. The final standings should be posted shortly, followed by the playoff pickers tournament contest info.

Know that you and your family have been heard by the Most High God. May you feel his presence so much so, that you know only he could’ve been involved!

Prayers lifted for each of my Packer Brothers n Sisters for a year of renewed strength and healing and peace. In Jesus name Amen !

@Poppa San, @tynimiller and @AmishMafia are 11-4 on their picks
I picked home teams. I guess most wanted the home fans to go home happy.

Thanks to CC for running this again. I barely had time to research MY picks let alone try to follow everyone else's picks. Time is a luxury.

Good stuff. I took all Home picks also initially.

Then I realized that I needed to top Voyageur by 2 correct game Winners to pass him for the Bonus +160 points (1st place in Wins) Yet Voyageur had picked all the same Winners as me except 1 game, so there’s 0% chance to make up +2 Wins if our picks are near identical. So I went back and edited and took some potential or logical upsets.

It’s ok though it was all good, competitive fun.
At one point mid season, I was 3 posters from the bottom with no luck on bingos and slipping fast. I felt like I was the Chicago Bears fighting my way back to try to beat the 49ers…..but I came up short!
