McDonald’s accidentally mocks Vikings fans

Maybe it wasn't by accident. The Packers frequently rank no. 2 in the state in team popularity. You gotta love it.

A good way to have hot coffee spilled on the lap of a Viking fan when he drives away and puts that cup to his lips!

McDonald's is also smart enough to know that:

A. This will get them some free advertising, mission accomplished
B. How many Vikings fans are going to want to acknowledge a Packer win at all, ever? By turning that cup in for a freebie they would be.

This reads as just a shipping mistake. They don't pay those pimple-faced McDonalds workers enough to care about what is on the cup they pull out of the box.

More importantly, Mike Zimmer got shafted by a McDonalds that only gave him one burger instead of the two he ordered. In his press conference he joked that it's been that kind of week. A reporter later asked if he thought about playing the "Do you know who I am" card. To Zimmer's credit, he said that the folks at McDonalds likely knew exactly who he was and that's why he only got one burger. Classic stuff.
