Interesting note on KFFL:
Adam Teicher, of the Kansas City Star, reporting for the Sporting News, reports the Kansas City Chiefs plan to shop for up-and-coming young players rather than high-priced veterans. They probably will begin their search at defensive tackle, where the Green Bay Packers DL Kenderick Allen would be a good fit
The drafting of Jolly led the Packers to keep an extra DT last year.
The Packers rotation has worked well and Allen was a low cost addition last year. Like all other businesses they likely have a budget at each position.
Allen is probably more valuable to another team than the Packers. He will make more money elsewhere.
The cap position and few veterans on the team make 2007 off season losses are going to hurt far less than an average year.
Assuming Green stays I think the worst loss the Packers will absorb will be Taylor at LB.
