How about Jarrett Bush coming up with some big plays last night? I think a few of us on the forum were ready to move on without him multiple times but its clear he has grown as a player and has a future in Green Bay. thoughts?

He's still just a special teamer as far as I can tell, but he's blossoming into quite a playmaker. Granted it was only one game, but I liked what I saw and I hope he can keep it up.

Considering he kept his roster spot despite the Al Harris situation I'm inclined to believe the coaches feel the same way you do.

Personally I feel that he's been on thin ice for way too long to keep his spot just because of special teams play; I want to see some production in the secondary.

They don't need him to. The emergence of Shields has been fun to watch and Underwood is becoming a nifty little player himself. My biggest concern is Pat Lee, who IMHO should have been cut in favor of Harris. But Bush is most likely going to be a speacial teamer where he needs to be. He is flourishing in that position and I think he was making excellent plays. In fact for the first time I didn't throw my dead back in frustration from him. Reserve corner, special team stud. Jacksonville has a few players, Montell Owens to name one, who are special team stars no more no less.

If Jarrett Bush has this kind of performance in the previous game, he's nominated as the MVP.
Bush is having a fantastic season, by all accounts. I remember maybe 2 plays where he Bush'd (was terrible), but I remember quite a few where he either held his own admirably, even as a CB, or flat out made great plays.

Here's to Bush. Keep it up big guy. For all the hate you received (from me), you deserve the praise for your great season.

You know the biggest compliment? Almost nobody considers cutting him right now.

If Bush is having a career season on ST, why not leave him there??? There are plenty of ST'ers that have a tremendous impact on ST's but no where else. Thats why hes referred to as a Specialist.

I have to give him some love as I was mad ******* him until the last few games. I think he is one of the most improved Packers this season. I'm really proud of the way he has stepped up and developed himself! I officially have removed him from my crap/ hit list.
