wow....hope that aint entirely true. But, with our lack of luck it most likely will come true. Better start shopping the draft for a big mis-match type TE now. Never to early to prospect.

Agreed. Bostic showed some prowess. I listened to the game and remember one of the guys saying how he's never seen a TE with Bostic's skillsets, or something along those lines. I thought that was an impressive compliment only games after Finley's departure.

Finley vows to be back, but he's a young buck who still believes that he's invincible. Unfortunately, it seems that reality and doctors' advice will catch up with him.

Although I will state that I give Mark Chmura's scumbag word about 0% of weight in my book, so we'll see.

Exactly.
I'll take the words of the doctors or of those in the Packers organization WHO ARE STILL WORKING FOR THE PACKERS

Reasearch on the Ol' interweb.... he is disgusting.

On April 8, 2000 Chmura was accused of sexually assaulting the 17-year-old babysitter of his children. Chmura was tried but found not guilty of all charges.[4] Two days after being acquitted of child enticement and third-degree ****** assault, Chmura acknowledged that his behavior at a post-prom party "wasn't something a married man should do.

Why would you say that if not guilty. Another case ( in which I beleive) an NFL star got off the hook.

It seems its relevent answer to a question posted in this thread...Most people aren't going to take Chmura's word for anything because of his past. If we are to dig up every old thread concerning someone we are referring to in another thread, there would be alot of head scratching. Exhausting is more like it.

Statement from Jermichael Finley’s agent
Posted by Mike Florio on November 13, 2013, 4:19 PM EST
[Editor's note: Blake Baratz, agent for Packers tight end Jermichael Finley, has released a statement regarding the question of whether Finley will undergo neck surgery. The full text of the statement appears below.]

We have spent countless hours over the past few weeks meeting with the top spine specialists, neurologists, and neurosurgeons throughout the country to gather information and opinions regarding Jermichael Finley’s spinal-cord injury. Since Mr. Chmura decided to speak out publicly and inaccurately......

*fingers crossed that I did this correctly! :)

I have never been a big Jermichael fan, but that being said.... I DON'T WISH HE HAD GOTTEN HURT LIKE HE DID. He's a young man. This is terrible. Nick Collins, Sterling Sharpe, now Finley, perhaps. THIS IS TRULY SAD, TRAGIC NEWS!

You did fine, dear. Glad you posted that. Thanx, it's helpful.

Good to get it straight from the horses mouth instead of a big mouth ex-Packer who, as it showed, knows nothing really of the situation.
Seems like Chmura was just all too quick and trying to show off being a know-it-all instead of really being concerned about Finley at all.
Why would someone jump the gun like this instead of letting the player himself announce his condition or if he is leaving football?
I wouldn't blame Finley if he cuts Chmura out of his life and never talks to him again.
Did Chmura clear it with Finley to make those comments?

When Finley comes back, Chmura is going to owe us his house.

He's got a tough row to *** and in the same way that I understood Nick Collins NOT coming back, I would understand Finley not coming back. If they were my sons I'd have told them the same thing ... don't "F" with your neck and spine. Ultimately, Finley will decide whether he wants to try it again and ultimately, the Packers will decide whether or not they want to be involved in a risky proposition to a young man's health. If Finley elects to try it again ... I'll respect that. If the Packers say they don't want to be part of jeopardizing his long term well-being, I'll respect that.

I wished that Collins would be able to come back and I wish that Finley can come back ... safely.

Well I hope that your both wrong in a good way! Going to Vikings colors is one step before arena football...(Is that even still around?!)
One step away from Arena, and two steps away from Lingerie league
