Why isn't anyone calling for MM head to be fired, or step down from OC? This is 2nd time in two years they couldnt score when needed to in playoffs
This is something I could get behind. People hate when I bring it up, but MM doesn't impress me as a coach.
With that being said, the San Fran game was an all around dismal performance. The fumbled punt was a total back breaker. You have to blame MM for having a rookie returning punts in a playoff game. At the time, the Packers were up 14-7 and I had images of 21-7 dancing in my head. The defense was terrible all night. Kapernick could do anything he wanted. Walden looked BAD along with the rest of the defense.
The only reason I think the offense carries too much blame is because Rodgers has to put the team on his back (again) and start pressing plays. It is tough when all a team can do is throw the ball. The interception to Nelson was a "let's see what happens" play.
