NBC reports that Everton has made a bid for the services of Mourinho. They are reportedly offering him a huge transfer account with which to revamp the team.
Fantastic!! he will bring peace, harmony, fluffy bunnies, traquillity and goodwill in their dressing room. Then after three years he will leave with everyone hating him and the team burned out in ruins.

Unlucky Crystal Palace, the glory hunting textile squad had the ref to thank for their win today. His failure to allow advantage and play on, on a couple of occasions was a bit strange. It was a much better game than last seasons rubbish blowout.

Yeah and i missed the main event after full time. ;) I think the Hibees could be in a little bother.

i just like the fact that The Rangers have came out and made statements as if their own fans didn't contribute to the scenes.

and even those ones that did contribute, it wasn't their fault as they were taunted and goaded by hibs fans. well duh, isn't that what happens for the full match in the stands anyway?

both teams should IMO be sanctioned for this. but the thing is, as this was at a neutral venue the persons in control are technically the SFA/SPFL/whatever... and they're not going to punish themselves for cocking up.

i am glad that hibs won though, as that rangers fans are unbearable enough as it is acting like the victims of all other professional football teams, when they are only victims of their own teams mismanagement. they are almost sounding like the celtic under neil lennon, nothing is ever their fault, and everyone hates them.

rant over...... for now

Non rant just saying as i see it.

Hibs deserved to win the game fairplay to them on the day. Your right everyone bar their own fans hates the big clubs thats the norm, and some of the Rangers fans did contribute to the festivities. But most of them did not, i have seen the footage of Rangers players being hit by alleged Hibs fans. It could quite easily become 1980 all over again. Rangers Fans smacking players from other teams in the national stadium.......there would have been hell to pay.

Football fans in all clubs have ***** hopefully those taking part will be punished but dont hold your breath. Why there was no Police type cordon to prevent anyone getting on the pitch is another thing, ineptitude. The SFA? failure to organise drinking party in brewery does come to mind.

Mourinho has a big job on his hands at Utd. Since his remarkable job at Porto, he's done pretty well since (very well at Inter with an aging squad), but this could well be the club that decides his legacy as a manager in years to come.
From today onwards their much talked about youth policy will no longer exist, he will buy in big megastars hope they win something then leave in turmoil after year 3.

Can't disagree with that. Mourinho hasn't been particularly good at developing players over the years. For his sake though, hopefully Utd will be drumming into him the importance of their youth development.

bloody foreigners, moving over here stealing all our jobs
Indeed, and to fight back this unfriendly takeover by all these foreigners let's start fighting back by only allowing British players for British teams ;) :D
But to be serious, will be intersting to see how the FA/EPL will solve this problem but the certainly will find a way. But strange how even sports could be affected.

As it's only two weeks until the Brexit referendum I was wondering if it would affect the Premier League and how.
Found this (older) article quite interesting.

Well, let's see what happens but leaving the EU might make things more complicated, even the football business. :cautious:
Really don't care to be honest, its a right wing nutter issue for those on the lunatic fringes of the Tory/UKIP persuasion. I might put none of the the above on the ballot paper. :D

"None of the above" is fast becoming a popular theme among many of us here in the states, too.

Brose Baskets (Bamberg) Sweeping thru the whole Playoffs so far. Swept Wuerzburg... Swept FC Bayern. Need 1 more game to sweep Ulm for the championship. This will make Bamberg champions in the last 8 of 9 years. Dynasty.

Can't understand why he left Southampton for Everton. It is a sideways step really, rather than a step up the ladder. I think he should have stayed with the saints for another season and waited for a big club to come knocking. Everton definitely aren't a big club so they must be paying him a lucrative salary.

British tabloids get very creative this time of year. :roflmao: One of them is reporting that Bayern is bidding against Man U for Imbrahimovic so they can replace Lewandowski.

EPL fixtures for next season announced this morning. Mourinho should start his United career with an away win at Bournemouth.

Now that England is opting out of the EU, I understand it will affect their ability to go after youth players on the continent because of working paper rules. What I want to know is, does this mean English salaries will now be more attractive to the more high profile players?
