Hi, another "soft German"here , funny things are going on in the EPL :D

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...erpart-Sam-Allardyce-after-latest-defeat.html

Wish you guys and your families a great new years eve and a healthy and good start into 2016.
Allardyce has a point ye soft B******

i have seen similar challenges given a red, but it just looked worse due to the speed it happened, don;t think there was any intent in it and lens did attempt to pull out of it

like the ARZ game this was PISH

Well, Martinez is hot. He should be. It was an exciting game until the referees pulled those shenanigans at the end. Did Everton celebrate? Yep. But it didn't take a whole minute. Was offsides totally ignored? Yep, it was a fan favorite player.

But it shouldn't have gone that far. Everton had it in the bag and then they did what so many teams do which drives me crazy. They got ahead and they let up a little. Chelsea made them pay for it. After that 2 point come back, Everton were on their heels a lot. They should have kept the pedal to the metal after scoring the first 2. I hate when teams go soft on a big lead.

Haven't seen the decisions as yet so can't really comment on on it, however they should have killed the game stone dead at 0-2.

Edit : Offside Terry goal and and a little bit to much extra played, swings and roundabouts though it was a penalty against Man City and Martinez said it was not, you can't have it your way all the time.......

To their credit, Everton's players are saying the offside shouldn't have mattered. They take the blame on themselves for losing the lead twice.

can't believe that Leicester are still hanging around at the top, i thought they would have dropped off a bit by now, but they're still hanging in there

special mention to Aberdeen also, who despite blowing a few chances to go top over the festive period(too many draws) we remain only six points behind one half of the great un-washed of Glasgow now that we've played the same amount of games

Man Utd fan here. So disappointed in LVG's second season; he hasn't built on the first season back into the top 4.

Leicester is indeed a great rags-to-riches story and I wonder how long this run will last. And Vardy is simply sensational, yesterday with two more goals against the Reds. I think they might have a real chance to qualify for Europe.
Do you think Dons will have a real chance to stop Celtic of winning another Championship ? Might be the last or best chance for some years as I expect Rangers beeing back in the race from season on.
Hearts and especially Staggies seem to play a very good season too.

well last nights result really helped us out there. we were absolute garbage until we scored the first goal. i think celtic still have a stronger squad than us, and we do seem to go off the boil and drop too many points at times, i've been saying all season that the title is still celtics all the way, now however, i'm maybe seeing some light at the end of the tunnel

But now it's only three points behind of them, there is a chance.
Btw - who was the last team that won the championship other than Celtic or Rangers ? And when ? :cautious:

Edit: First goal is a nice shot !

last team outwith the old firm was Aberdeen in 1984/85 season, hearts lost out on the last day of the 85/86 season when Aberdeen beat then and made Celtic champions

aye Johnny Hayes has that in him, i would like him to score a few more along with Niall Mcginn. as a team our goal dif is only +17 for having played 24(?) games this season while celtic is +47ish, too many 1 goal wins when we usually lose by 2/3 when we have lost

There would be none more happy than me of Aberdeen won the league, it would make a nice change lets hope it happens. The manger should stay there for as long as he does his stock will rise hes doing thing right. Albert Kidd for Dundee Scotti it was them that beat the Jambos that year! :D;) I think Fergies Dons were winning cups instead at that point. :notworthy:

Thanks for the correction, but I was only 6 at the time

At the start of the season I said I would be happy just if we were closer than the 17 point difference that it ended last season. Now being this close, I'm starting to get excited about the possibility
