Do we have enough picks this year to draft an ENTIRE DEFENSE

Embarrassing, as has been this whole year. Take the green and gold googles off the season is over. Trade who we can and get what we can. 13-3 last year, straight up Embarrassing.

BEST OF LUCK TO THE GUNSLINGER AND HOPE HE GETS TO THE PLAYOFFS FOR OUR TEAM'S SAKE AND MAYBE THE SUPERBOWL FOR THAT FIRST ROUNDER. Even though TT will have no clue who to take.

Good response, but these coaches here do not seem to be held accountable, so that is why I wrote what I did.

It might take a little more time but things will come out in the wash. Nice thread

tt will not give up any draft picks; after all, there are plenty of WRs he can pick up, and he likes that. BTW, our #1 pick has a grand total of 26 catches this year. But that's more than the # of tackles #1 pick Harrell has. Anyone see a trend?
The problem is we also need help on the O. Clifton and Tauscher must be replaced before they're completely useless. We need Wells replaced. We need a useful TE. That's 4 alone already.

We dont need to draft an entire defense....they are playing poorly but when your captain/middle linebacker goes down just when he was starting to play like the should be pro bowl player he is, Jenkins goes down at the beginning, Harris lacerates his splean and an injured Hawk is trying to play middle linebacker weakening the outside its hard to play up to the potential

Too many injuries from the start I think is the problem.

In the beginning of the year, the lack of running game (Grant) and the O-Line looking like one of those pourous cheeseheads, contributed to losing games.

Now take the injuries on defense. Harris missed games, Bigby, now Barnett, d-line took its hits, and KGB was cut. Now there is not enough depth on the d line. What needs to be done via draft is the remodeling of the d line. With the first 3 picks, go d line, o line d line. This years draft is very strong on the line. Take advantage of that.

Then with the fourth, snag a solid safety. The continue to build o line depth with the next and then maybe get some backup linebackers. I really think that could be a solid start for them.

Also, for TT, don't get questionable guys who will be serious hits or busts, like Harrel. Go for the sure fire guy who might not be as stellar as the one in front of him but more likely to succeed in the NFL.

The team does not need to be rebuilt, just remodeled. Dump Pickett or keep him situational, cut Harrel, and bolster up that line through the draft and a free agent or two while the picks develop.
