What to do now? Do we change things up?

I think GB is a 1.5 pt favorite. Not that it matters. Those spreads are made to generate the most betting.
Seems strange, they had us favored over the Broncos too, in Denver. We have won six in a row in Chicago though, and remember, we won all of those without Parsons.

Much better Bears team tomorrow. But this is ancient rivalry. The better team on paper and for the season does not always translate to victory. The Packers cannot get flagged 10 times and expect to win. By the same token I wish the Bears would revert back to WK 1 when THEY got flagged for 12.

It's hard to remember that the Bears started the season 0-2, including giving up 52 points to the Lions. That's why it's best not to draw too many conclusions from play in September, even October. And the Lions secondary has been wiped out with injuries, with both Branch and Joseph out for the season.

And it showed in their loss to the Steelers last night. Fortunately, that helped the Packers playoff chances, not that it should have been needed.......

Hafley needs to get creative and deceptive with this defense, more blitzing and disguises. T

This team has depth and athletic players on every level; it's time to incorporate positionless schemes.
Looking back at the Bears game, Hafley did make adjustments and the D played a very good game, even without Parsons and Williams. He's a smart guy, and it will hurt to lose him to a HC gig next season. Hopefully he has an assistant who has been with him for a while, who can take over at DC.

But the Bears did get flagged 10 times ( Should have been more ) and still won.

Yeah milani I noticed sometime in the 2nd half the Packers had not gotten many flags while the Bear had quite a few.

I don't like making excuses - but I will - the Packers had this game signed, sealed, and -not delivered. If I didn't know the outcome and just looked at the stats, I would have guessed a 10 or 14-point Packers' win.

It just wasn't meant to be, and there are no coincidences. It will be sweet to go back there and take the Bears out in the first round.

My other takeaway from the game, the Bears were out for blood, literally. That hit on Love was intentional and designed to take him out, and it did. I'm not a conspiracy guy, but it sure looked like the Bears had been coached to do anything possible to win, and to cripple GB when the opportunity presented itself.

Fine. If that's the way they want to play, it goes both ways.

I’ve watched that hit so many times and I still don’t see this malicious intent that some cite. The Brisker hit to the head of Malik on the slide to me had more ill intent behind it than the Love one.

The Love one the dude led with his head for sure but if love had been standing tall that hit doesn’t even take him out for a play, it was the perfect storm of Love lowering and the dude leading with his head.

In the end it doesn’t matter though, we are where we are and have to fight with likely Love to beat Baltimore and take care of business with the Vikings to punch a ticket to hopefully drawing the Bears in the first round. Be an incredibly sweet chance to have!!

Whereas in the 9er-Colt game Old Man Rivers could have had his head knocked off by the 9ers but it appeared they tried to stay within the rules. The Bears were out for blood. We should not have been intimidated. We should have del8vered the knockout punch.
Back in 1965 the Lions had a 21-3 lead at halftime. The Packers fought back. The Lions committed two personal foul penalties on the same play. One of them came after the first one was called when HOF LB, Joe Schmidt, came out of nowhere to knock down one of our receivers. The whistle had blown and the first flag was already on the ground before Schmidt decided to land another. The crowd in Detroit was so loud that the Packers had to go back in the huddle. Instead of being intimidated Starr and the Packers just played football and took over for a 31-21 victory. That is how you play football.

Success is the best revenge.

I would love a "2 outta 3" game with the Bears in Chicago in January (or at Lambeau, a long shot). The season could arguably be called a success if they are able to beat the Bears, or whatever team they play in round 1.

Can they go further? Maybe. For now, can't overlook the Ravens. Close out a playoff spot this weekend. Job #1.
