The day has finally arrived for our 2025 Green Bay Packers football team. I'm excited, albeit nervous, as expectations are high, especially after the Parsons acquisition. However, this is a tough 5 day start to the season, vs Detroit and Washington. Good thing, both games are at home, which is better than being on the road for two straight in that short amount of time. These two games will be heavyweight fights vs teams who made the 2024 Playoffs, and also have high expectations for the season, just like we do. Detroit beat us both times we faced off last year, and Washington knocked the Lions out of the Playoffs. Minimally, we need to come out of this with a 1-1 record, and going 2-0 will put me on cloud 9.... This team hasn't started the season off at Lambeau in quite a few years. Hopefully that's a recipe for success, and we can celebrate with a home win vs Detroit today, and move on to the Thursday matchup with a good taste in our mouths. Go Pack Go!
Agreed. There is no reason for MLF not to have them fired up. They will need to start games faster this year, and they have the horses to do it.

Green Bay Market gets Aaron Rodgers at noon if you're interested
Thanks weeds I would like to catch that game. Minnesota and Chicago play tomorrow night. Two very different teams from last season.

I think Golden has a big day as well as Kraft and Musgrave. I think our defense will also look good, but the Lions RBs will have a good day. The passing game for the Lions will not have much success. Look for the Packers to get more sacks than the Lions are used to and rattle Goff. Give Parsons 2 sacks (why not?) And Gary, Walker and Wyatt as well.

I will be looking at how fast the Packers start. They have been notoriously slow to begin, forcing catchup.

I know this sounds like a radical overstatement, but I firmly believe it - getting off to a fast start in games against tough opponents could be the determining factor in whether this season even succeeds or fails. Especially in division games.

As many tough games as we have on our schedule, I can easily imagine 6 or 8 one-score games. Scoring on our first possession in those close games will ultimately determine whether we win or lose many of them, and considering how incredibly close and competitive this division is going to be, that will probably determine where we finish in the division standings.

I can think of at least 2 one-score losses last season where, had we been the first team to score, we would probably have won them. That would have made an enormous difference in the seedings, probably given us a bye, and likely have made at least some difference in how we finished the post-season.

This isn't your father's NFC North - today's NFC North is the toughest, tightest division in the NFL. Every single possession matters. Gone are the days when we can wait until 6, 8, even 10 minutes into the 1st quarter before we start getting serious. We absolutely have to play 100% right from the opening kickoff, every single week, because I promise you that's how the Lions are going to approach every single game, and probably the Bears as well.

We can no longer afford that ****. If we're the first team to get the ball, we need to make it an absolute priority to be the first team to score. We need to play as though the first 4 or 5 minutes of the game are the last 4 or 5 minutes of the game, and play accordingly. That may very well be the story of our season.

I've also looked at those, there multiple positive reviews for it. A decent upfront cost for sure, but so many things that make up for it in the long run. Will buy once my youngest graduates.

So glad to have the season back! I hope we are the top NFL team (record wise, we already are the best NFL franchise in history) and bring home our trophy.

But aren't they connected to the Internet? I think that you are correct as nothing that they pickup isn't a free broadcast.
Yes internet

Android boxes are legal in themselves, functioning similarly to legal devices like Roku or Fire Stick. Their legality hinges entirely on the content accessed through them; it is illegal to use an Android box to stream copyrighted material without proper authorization, which can result in copyright infringement and legal action. The boxes become illegal when paired with unauthorized software or services that facilitate access to pirated content.

I think that you can still get them $325 too. So while I will be locked into family stuff for bit, I definitely would recommend it for other that are having blackout issues.

When I moved here I couldn’t watch the Packers unless it was national TV. Went to bars but hate it . Friend of mine had this box and I looked into it, and I never looked back.

I hope this is helpful for you Melvin, I know the horrible pain of running into a game being blacked out.
