Man, Rodgers keeps getting knocked around too much back there. Sure sometimes he hangs onto that a little long, but I keep seeing these guys get bull rushed right out of their stances.

Brian Bulaga is done. Too many ridiculous injuries and it's costing us. Lane Taylor is failing and needs to be replaced.

No more defensive picks in the early draft rounds. Draft the hogs up front to protect our QB, that is a must, and the biggest failure on your predecessor's part.

I’m actually disgusted at the lack of concern for our QB. We draft ONE 4th round OL out of 12 possible picks!!!! and he doesn’t show up his first day of work and we do NOTHING!

In the last 5 drafts we’ve picked just 1 lineman before the 3rd day leftovers!!! That’s just 1 out of 15 possible players (Spriggs) and only 3 out of 15 total 1st and 2nd day draft players were Offensive players.
By now you pretty much know what you got (or don’t got) and it’s imperative to address the glaring need. Bell is a realistic backup, not our answer to our Offensive woes.
To back that up we drafted ZERO Offensive players in the first round since 2011!! ZERO
Not a RB, not a WR, not a C, OT, OG, TE not one!

We need a top quality FA veteran worthy of his salt at either OG or OT depending on the choices... Then we need two more O lineman, one first rounder at the opposite position picked above ..and another 3rd to 4th rounder to provide an adequate depth option.

I agree with drafting OL but my point is it's a crap shoot where we normally pick as evidenced by Sherrod and Springs

Bulaga is DONE

Sitton, Lang, Linsely and Tretter were all LATE round picks though

Yeah, I suspect after tonight Brian G realizes his old boss going all in on defense the last few years screwed us over bad. I'll give him a little time to right this, but it's absolutely ridiculous the way we gotta see the OL cave in every down and Rodgers run for his life.

Mark Murphy needs to order the front office to fix the OL pronto this offseason.

The O’line has been suspect for some time Bulaga is one but Arod puts himself in allot of unnecessary positions, when he holds the ball way to long, I understand trying to make a play but puts himself at risk a lot....

I agree, but this team is absolutely desperate for pass rushers. Add an effective pass rush to the young talent in the secondary, plus Clark and Daniels, and you have a top 5 defense. I'd be thrilled with a pass rusher and O Tackle in the 1st round.

He does because that is how this offense is designed, hold the ball until someone manages to get open then throw it

Unfortunately we need an elite pass rusher even more and if we're going to get one, next years draft is the time to do it.

As I said, Ted Thompson failed this by wasting picks on defensive players and not getting adequate OL picks early on.
Go back to 1992 and list for me the number of offensive linemen taken early. It's a short list.

Then go thru and list the defensive players taken 1st, it's a longer list. Just and FYI and for some comparison.

It’s not that he has picked defensive players early. It’s that he’s mucked up those draft picks and has had to continually draft them early because of it.

Ted Thompson’s drafts of the past few years has set this team back significantly.

The past few years haven't been good, i'm not going to argue otherwise. Just that going back to when I was in high school, defense has always seemed to have been the early round picks. You barely have to use 2 hands in 30 years to count the offensive linemen taking early. Everyone seems to think Wolf was a god and Thompson sucked. Just a little comparative analysis is all. But yes, Ted's last few drafts had a lot to be desired in terms of rounding out a roster. Though I'd say he still scored with playmakers in a LT, WR, DL and a pretty good linebacker. but not much else to round anything out with. It hurts. Can't argue otherwise.

Been telling you guys since the beginning of the season that Both guards aren’t good, and Bulaga wouldn’t stay healthy for more than 2 games. The O line has NOT been good since it was Clifton, Tauscher, Wells, Colledge, and Spitz. That was a decade ago. Linsley is a solid center and Bahk is pretty good out there at LT but that is It. Bulaga is probably the most injury prone Packer in history and won’t be back.

They need a true mauler at guard and a RT who can actually run and pass block....and stY healthy. Hey

While I understand your point, it would have been easier to look toward other areas of need had Thompson of hit on some more of his picks. With all of the draft capital he's allocated to the defense, specifically the secondary, it's no wonder that other areas of the roster have suffered. Gutekunst did in one offseason what Thompson couldn't do in multiple offseasons and that's make the secondary even respectable. I'd say as of the present, it's fairly solid.

Disagree! Anything short of beefed up OL up front keeping Rodgers upright will not do.

No more of these ridiculous defensive drafts. Go all offense, beef up the OL and give Rodgers more weapons.

Pass rusher is more needed though!

I don't even think I saw Perry once last night

I saw Clay once, getting BLOWN UP on a half back block

It would help if we A) ran the ball more, and B) if aaron would learn to get rid of it faster. He loves to sit back there and take his sweet time. When is the last time that we saw Aaron run a quick throw offense with the ball consistently coming out in 2.5 seconds? When is the last time that we saw him ride the run game?

Our outside line backing core is in serious need of overhaul.

Id say that 1A is a pass rushing OLB. 1B is a free safety and then after that we need reinforcements on offense. Should probably look for a guard in rounds 2-3.

Unfortunately we need a guard and a tackle. It's clear that we cannot rely on Bulaga to stay healthy.

Well get a damn OL to open up the holes, and even on the short passes, Rodgers has still been under duress.

We've done enough stupid defensive drafts, now do something about the damn OL. Brian G must fix it and fix it yesterday.
