Before he signed with Arizona, I remember there were quite a few people here who desperately wanted the Packers to draft Joey Porter. A few of us were adamantly opposed due to Porter's past character issues, yet that didn't seem to sway those who felt we still needed to make a play.

Yup I read this a few days ago and thought to myself "phew." I know I was one of the people who were considering Porter for the pack but boy was I wrong.

And when you start reading comments from Miami fans that Porter was abysmal in run support, that he was a diva...

All that kinda makes me happy we didn't get him.
