Great find. In just six paragraphs Tom Junod captures an elusive characteristic of Rodgers. (Relative) brevity is indeed the soul of wit.

I saw a blurb on an interview which stated that A-Rod has the highest QB rating ever!

Rodgers has the highest QB rating ever in the regular season, the highest QB rating ever in postseason, the highest QB rating ever on 3rd downs, and the highest QB rating ever in the redzone.

(The article doesn't state he has the highest QB rating ever in the redzone, but with something near 50 TDs to 2 INTs in the redzone, I figure he just might)

Qb rating doesnt transcend well over different eras. Not really a fair grasp of his place in history, or anyone else on that list. 15 of the top 25 are active players. Of those 10 that are not, only 4 of them didnt play in the 2000s. Marino, Young, Montana, and Graham.

But it does make older players stand out more when they still are high on the list. Like Bart Starr for the playoff QB rating and Otto Graham for reg season qb rating.

    Here's where I saw it.
    It's about 25 seconds in.
99.8 passer rating. Highest in NFL history. Wow.

What does that mean? A couple more completions, no ints, and he'll have 100?
No doubt that he is the best in the NFL right now.
