Parting early with good players is tough in the now. Although I’d argue it’s time to push Lukas into the limelight and imo Dani Dennis is every bit as talented as JJ Enagbare. I’m not down on Enagbare as much as I’m up on DDS for $1.37Mil annually over $10Mil for JJ Enagbare. I just think that’s a big chunk of change for what’s likely at most a 3rd Edge.
NET $8.6Mil + future Day 3 pick.
I think GB should draft Josh’s replacement in 2027. However This 3027 draft has strong RB2 options. One approach is to Double down like we did with Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams one year. We likely have 5 picks in RD4-5 and that’s perfect for landing at least 1 dynamic Rusher. I’d get a dual threat and a more traditional workhorse RB with size. One that is at least functional as a blocker and receiver in that 215-225lb range.

Option 2: Here’s an intriguing prospect although on the smaller side at 5’11” 205lb. Yet he produces a very good missed tackle and YAC rates (887 after contact yards) He has some pass catching growth to exploit. He is considered a near-Elite level Pass Blocker or the best in class blocker and you’ll see that in every last Scouting write up. With His fit as a Zone Rusher and high reliability protecting our QB imo he’s going to be on radar imo. His 12.8 Yards per reception are approaching Marshawn Lloyd impact numbers.
Funny thing when you watch Raymond. He looks underwhelming, but he actually utilizes patience to allow blocks to develop and then has an uncanny ability to use cutbacks, jump cuts and slices through tiny seams in the Defense for chunk plays. He’s not flashy at all, but is very secretly crafty and plays with a vigorous style like a smaller Jamaal. Average Traits. High effort. Elite Vision
Imo more RB2 and if Lloyd works out as RB1? Antwan becomes a perfect compliment likely RD5 in a thick class unless 2026 changes his outlook etc.
