I am seeing more players going out than coming in. The ones leaving were starters last year.What is a hole on a team? That's always a pertinent question. Those, I think, are players targeted by the opposing team's coordinators. They are well below average NFL starters.
Last season Ryhan was a hole at center. He was fine in the running game but struggled mightily in the passing game. That doesn't automatically mean he'll remain that way in 2026. Give him more experience and he could take a leap forward.
Another hole last year was IDL against the running game.
Just because you swap out players, doesn't mean any hole on a team is filled. The new player could be even worse if he's unproven. The only proof that a hole is filled is by grading the new guy or seeing if the previous player improves.
