This is fantastic news. No matter Watson is a nice upgrade over any TE not name Tucker. Really excited to see Matthew Golden and Watson lined up together for their joint debut

Then throw it to Doubs who will move the chains. ;)

Yep. Watson is one of those additives that can directly punish opponents if not properly attended. Either that or him just being on the field makes it more likely that several other weapons get preferable matchups. It’s very possible Doubs is a recipient of the latter.

I also don’t think Watson is going to back up much if any. Might need a game to shake the psychological rust off, but the sooner he returns on a limited basis is the sooner he returns on a full time basis.

Looking forward to seeing him on the field. But nervous as well. Jordy tore his ACL on this field.

New Packers fan from Oklahoma here. Go read my post in the Introduce Yourself forum and reply! I need to know what to do in Green Bay. Attending my first ever NFL game next Sunday at Lambeau!

Anyway, you can guess I'm a Collin Oliver fan. I'm a lifelong Oklahoma State Cowboy against all of my better judgement.

How much did they get to see him in practice before his injury? I hated that he got injured because I think he'll do great things. But was just wondering what anyone heard about his play, how long until he'll be back, etc.

You are going to think you died and went to heaven. You're going to see why John Madden called it the Mecca of football, a shrine to the game itself. I have been to several stadiums over the course of my lifetime but nothing, and I mean nothing, compares to the weekends when the Packers are playing at home. There are fans from around the world there, and fans from other teams, although small in number, are welcomed like people should be at sporting events.

Two days isn't enough to drink it all in. After your first visit, you're going to find reasons to go back and enjoy every aspect of it again, digging even deeper and doing more.

I went to my first game over 70 years ago, own several shares of the team, and am a Lifetime Member of the Packers Hall of Fame as one of the founders. I always visit it when I go back even though I've done it so often.

If you get a chance to step onto Lambeau Field, be prepared for the emotions it can stir inside you. I've seen grown men who served in combat step onto that field as a fan and be totally overwhelmed.

Enjoy your trip.

Give us more detail, such as, when do you get in, when do you leave, any partial plans already made? We can certainly fill in the blanks.

Don't tell him where we all hang out! He will discover that we are all hot, single, 21+ year old, blonde chicks, that are wild and carefree, and are just looking for Okie men to score with! :coffee:

From my post in the other thread:

We'll be arriving at our AirBnB on Friday evening and will probably just chill there that night. Anyone know where I can get some good local steaks to grill maybe?

Saturday we're going to take in the town of Green Bay. I'll want to go to the pro shop that day to peruse the apparel, but other than that we'll be looking for good local eats and drinks! Again, any recommendations welcomed!

And then Sunday. Man I'm excited. Should I go to one of the main forums to find someone who runs a big tailgate we could visit? It sounds like we'll absolutely be welcomed for at least a drink at any tailgate, but didn't know if someone on here knows of a specifically good one that's there every gameday.

@OldSchool101 is correct, although he seems to be the only one sending me complaints. I just got done filing the last weeks worth of them from him. :whistling:

so much. Really so much Acting and Singing has lost authentic luster. I’m Oldschool though. I have a digital to analog converter and I like spinning vinyl. I’d probably play 8-track if it didn’t occasionally do that stupid skip on my favorite song. Can’t stand that.

I never met an Okie who didn't drink, cuss, chew tobacco, and wasn't able to spit farther than a llama.

Alpaca spit far more, they’re like Philly fans - the bad outnumber the good and bad you’re best to just not visit their home terf.
