You are going to think you died and went to heaven. You're going to see why John Madden called it the Mecca of football, a shrine to the game itself. I have been to several stadiums over the course of my lifetime but nothing, and I mean nothing, compares to the weekends when the Packers are playing at home. There are fans from around the world there, and fans from other teams, although small in number, are welcomed like people should be at sporting events.
Two days isn't enough to drink it all in. After your first visit, you're going to find reasons to go back and enjoy every aspect of it again, digging even deeper and doing more.
I went to my first game over 70 years ago, own several shares of the team, and am a Lifetime Member of the Packers Hall of Fame as one of the founders. I always visit it when I go back even though I've done it so often.
If you get a chance to step onto Lambeau Field, be prepared for the emotions it can stir inside you. I've seen grown men who served in combat step onto that field as a fan and be totally overwhelmed.
Enjoy your trip.
