He's a short yardage specialist. He's the guy you put in to get the one tough yard you need. That's the role he was drafted for and he's damn good at it. It would be nice if Jones could stay healthy.

If Gute used a 2nd rounder on a guy to get a tough yard then I need to re-evaluate my thoughts on Gute.

I'm talking about 3rd or 4th and 1. Plays where the defense puts 8 in the box. NOBODY is going to covert all of those but Dillon converts a high percentage of them.

If only someone could give us Dillon's percentage and then give the league percentage.

Unfortunately it is not in the budget. I guess I just got spoiled by the posters who like to do that type of stuff. Oh well, can't have everything. It does make me ponder if you have ever made that helpful suggestion to any other posters, or am I just one of your favorites?

It w would seem to be definitely be an issue. Nearly 3 years later and his knee is causing him to miss time? Any word on Jenkins knee injury.

With the dang injury problems we're having, if we get through September 2-2 I'll take that. We need the entire coaching staff to do better. Pleased with the performance of the three backup offensive linemen though I have no idea how they graded out.

Now this I can definitely get behind. I'm not looking for playoffs, but beating MIN twice would make me a happy man.

nobody but love moved. I dont believe that. The players dont watch the ball to know when to move they go by the count… if NOBODY moves it’s obviously not a play.

This is why people have no clue what was happening

Do you think the play was designed for Love to sneak the ball without it being snapped? Put the blame where it belongs. It was Myers who didn't snap it.
