lolol, the Giants must be kicking themselves for this one.

A lot of giant fans are happy for grant if you read our boards. He was the 5th string RB on our depth chart since we have Jacobs, Droughns, Ward, and Bradshaw so he probably would be a backup for a long time and its great to see him having success on a team I happen to like.

Interesting tidbit about Grant, in all but one game since the Denver game he's busted out a 20+ yard run. Pretty good that we can consistently count on at least one real big run per game. Having a back who can explode like that week in week out is very helpful to our offense.

Does anyone agree with me that his numbers surge is at least partly due to the O-line executing the ZBS like they should? He's all man, no doubt, but you don't just singlehandedly roll up a bunch of 100+ yd games over the span of <2 months all by ur lonesome.

Considering we still haven't set in stone our pair of guards yet I'd say it has more to do with Grant but I do agree that the offensive line is getting better.

Grant has not played a full year. So lets look at Yards Per Average with a minimun 150 carries.

1. Adrian Peterson............... 6.1 Y.P.A.

2. Ryan Grant....................... 5.0 Y.P.A.

2. Marion Barber................. 5.0 Y.P.A.

4. Fred Taylor..................... 4.9 Y.P.A.

5. Brian Westbrook.............. 4.7 Y.P.A.

6. LaDainian Thomlinson...... 4.5 Y.P.A.

By the way..... Gado Played 8 games for the Packers, had 143 carries for a 4.1 Yard Average and 582 Yards.

I think this kid is for real.

Edit Ryan not Ron.

I'd take Grant over Barber. My Grandma could run behind that OL.

Good point Zombie. That is something else we need to figure in.
