Atletico is still quicker to the ball than Bayern. Atletico had a lot of take aways too. Pretty good match until things got sloppy near the end with everyone plowing each other over.

Well....that side judged really screwed the pooch. But they are human too and can fall asleep during a match like anyone else in their easy chair...

I get these are snap decisions and it happens so fast....but it is tough to accept when the player is easily 3-4 yards offside lol

The argument could be made that the penalty awarded to Bayern later was a little harsh (and I could see that), it did clearly bounce straight down off of the PSV defenders arm though. I didn't see a good angle showing how far his arm was extended.

Oh well, Bayern gutted it out, the cup goes on.

Yeah I've read from people who had a different broadcasting station (and a different angle) that his arm was pretty close to his side, which means it was a pretty harsh ruling.

Of course I also read from several game recap articles there was an obvious foul on someone hugging Lewandowski to the ground inside the penalty area that was let go....Gah. Sounds like it was just a rough first half for the officials all around (I didn't get to watch the first half).

I don't want to sound like a sore winner, but goodness gracious that officiating was crazy!

Bayern proved the saying though, the horse jumps as high as it needs to. I've been saying for weeks that Bayern turn it one when they feel like they need to. That's a bad thing in the league, but it usually gets them places in the CL (unless they play a spanish team)
