The Packers need a safety as stated before the draft, at least a guy or two for the PS with 2017 potential to fill Hyde's backup spot. An injury to Dix, Burnett or Hyde might even require his promotion to the game day roster unless you want to see Banjo as your #1 backup, which you should not.
An alternative would be Randall filling in at his natural position, FS. I'll be curious to see if they have him spend some time working with the safety group, though I doubt it will happen. He needs to focus on sharpening his CB craft until the inevitable move to safety down the line.
In any case, I guess somebody figured out the position is thin.
Brice had an impressive Pro Day, running 4.44, with the exception of a poor 3-cone.

The Packers also added Marwin Evans from the Milwaukee area, a 5'11, 211 lb. SS who ran 4.47 at his Pro Day.

Beside the 40 time he had impressive measurables at his Pro Day except for a bad 3-cone:

These guys have very similar physical and workout profiles: both 5'11", 200-211 lbs., fast, can jump out of the building, strong with 20 +/- lifts, with 3-cone times that suggest questionable agility. I'm not going look it up, but what are the chances these guys played some point guard?
We'll see....
