I think it's time that we as Packer fans change our expectations. We used to EXPECT the playoffs, well no more.

From now on we as Packer fans EXPECT 19-0...

Defensively we EXPECT to see negative yardage or turnovers on EVERY PLAY.

Offensively we expect a TOUCHDOWN on EVERY PLAY, not every DRIVE...EVERY PLAY.

Special Teams we expect EVERY kick to be run back for a touchdown...EVERY KICK. And EVERY TIME we have to kick off to start the game we EXPECT A TOUCH BACK, OR A FUMBLE CAUSED AND RECOVERED!

NOTHING LESS THAN THIS is acceptable, and anyone who thinks it is should probably be working for or cheering for Cleveland!

Well, I think as Packer fans we have been spoiled. Maybe we need a nose thumping to get us back on the ground.

These are times that try a fan. Yep, we missed a playoff. Yep, we stunk on 4 of 5 prime time games. Yep, without Aaron we are just another JV team. But, next fall I will be pumped up and ready to start another season.

You make that seem like a bad thing.

I never expect 19-0 because it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, but I always expect to bring home the Lombardi.

That's pretty involved. All that some of us have been looking for is another Lombardi.

I thought you wanted me to change my expectations. The OP is just a listing of what I've wanted for years.

Wanting and expecting are two different things. I wanted the Packers to win last night but I expected them to lose.

Well....its official, this team only goes as far as Aaron Rodgers can take it. Can you say the entire staff has been exposed and for some time now? When the front office sits on its hands with excuses this time, it should fall on deaf ears. Change is mandatory. Culture shock needed. Otherwise we are an also ran. I compare this regime to the Chi Blackhawks right now - same tired staff.

Could compare it to the 49’ers. 1-10 until they had a good QB. 4-0 now with Jimmy G. Just beat a division winner. QB is huge on any team not loaded with high round draft picks, but I would still like to see DC and TT go and new blood taking over.

Mike? Ted? You're outta here because Ric is gonna motivate these same guys in a way you can't.

Nothing matters if our Defense can’t get into the top 12 give or take. That won’t happen until we admit our failures and make radical changes in the Defensive coaching arena in combination with our GM taking a somewhat aggressive approach. It’s 4 down territory for this GM so to speak, TT either needs to come out of his shell or hand the reigns over to someone who can find some thoroughbreds.

IF.. we can reformat our pass Defense strategy then the next step is going after a game changer in the backfield (using BOTH the draft or FA)
We need to get a pass rush specialist that can be a game changer and a Veteran CB who can be a leader to compliment and motivate all these young guys in our secondary.

They are 5-5 ( including losses to a dome team, Kaepernick, and twice to an average Manning) in their last ten playoff games at Lambeau field. They've had a soul crushing defeat, and *** kicking in the last two NFCCG games. Spoiled by QB greatness (wasted greatness...btw)? Absolutely. Otherwise, this narrative of being "spoiled" by success...is...false.

This is an average team that's flaws never get fixed. Why do the Steelers and Patriots go all out to get better?

I get what I want usually with this GB organization. The Pack is competitive. They are in the mix. Sure a few years here and there they hit a lag.

If the Packers don't win at least another Super Bowl with Rodgers it would be a huge disappointment considering he's a generational talent though.

I was around from the first two Superbowls (though young 10 and 11) and waited 30 years for #3 and even longer for #4. I hated the loss to Denver even more than not going to a Superbowl (think how Bills and Viking fans must feel. ) While 4 Superbowls is not the record, it is not shabby either. I do think you see a difference in older fans and younger fans that have never experienced the bad years. (Okay, maybe Ray Rhodes for one year) I think the older fans can understand a little more what it takes to field a winner every year. That said Ron Wolf's commitment to excellence seems no longer a primary concern. With the Packers making money all year long with the Packer District, winning seems to be a little less important to the organization. Watching Aaron Rodgers prime wasted is what pains me the most.

I'd tweak/add a few points, but as a guy who started pre-Lombardi, this generated a lot of head-nodding.

You homers only want 19-0??? WTF?

I target 24-0. Pre-season and Pro-Bowl included.

Get your priorities straight, all.
