Thursday night football is ridiculous. It only exists so that people order the NFL Network. Why make teams play a game 4 days after playing a game?

Probably because most fans want it. I know I love Thursday night games. It gives me something to look forward to during the week and makes the wait for football Sunday much more tolerable.

More football > less football.

To me, it doesn't matter how well or poorly a team is playing.
All that matters is who wins and loses.

Yup. Wins get you into the playoffs, not style points. The rest is irrelevant.

Anyway, about the topic at hand-

Yes, NFLN's crew, outside of Bob Papa, is horrible. Last week Joe Theisman sounded like he wanted to rub one out to video of Matt Ryan passing the ball. This week it seemed he wanted to do the same with Matt Forte. And Matt Millen- Why this guy has a job doing anything NFL related is beyond me, but his presence is an insult to NFL Fans. Doubly so when he gives all kinds of kudos to members of his old regime. Sorry, a-hole, but your guys led the Lions to the worst record ever in NFL History. Get the f--k off my TV screen.

ESPN is just as bad. Just about the whole pre-game crew needs to be replaced, and their booth guys are just awful. If MNF weren't on ESPN, I'd probably never watch it.

Give me Al and Cris any day.
