is it just me or does it feel like the nfl network does the worst job with primetime football?

now i think nbc is pretty bad and i love espn but nfl networks announcers are just so... boring dare i say.

side note: last week they bugged me when they were basically bending over for matt ryan last week saying how they wanted a dvd of matt ryans passes cuz they were so beautiful

You are not the only one who thinks that way! I have heard the announcers on NFL Sat radio and they are pretty good on radio but something changes on games and it is pretty much a train wreck!

Thursday night football is ridiculous. It only exists so that people order the NFL Network. Why make teams play a game 4 days after playing a game?

Hate: They started the season on Thursday this year. What's wrong with the tradidition of starting on Sunday?
Love: Watching the Vikings get beaten again in a Saints rematch on natl TV.

Only 16 - 0. This tells us something. The Bears can make what they will of this win but I look at it a bit differently. If the Bears were a really good team, or just a good team they would be blowing the Dolphins out of the water. That score should be in the high 30's maybe 40's. It tells us the Bears are not as good as they appear. The Packers blew out Dallas when they were down because they had the ability to do it. Evidently the Bears don't have the same ability.

To be fair, the Bears could have been saying the same thing about the Packers after they ONLY beat the Jets 9-0. A road shutout is a road shutout, and both the Dolphins and Jets are winning teams. And the Dallas Cowboys that the Packers faced were a MUCH different team than the Miami Dolphins the Bears faced tonight. The Dolphins are still fighting for a playoff birth, while the Cowboys had pretty much stopped caring about anything.

I do, however, think the Bears are not nearly as good as their record indicates. The Packers haven't exactly been impressive this year, but at least their record is merited by their play.

To me, it doesn't matter how well or poorly a team is playing.
All that matters is who wins and loses.
