Stuff I've heard, read that I thought would be nice to consolidate into one thread. If you guys have more interesting facts put them in this thread. No predictions or team talk. Just interesting FACTS about this current SB not past SB. Just facts regarding this one. As I hear more I'll update.
So far I heard this on Dallas radio. I don't claim these to be true, just what the radio guys are saying.
- Most number of volunteers ever for a SB
- Highest ticket demand ever for a SB
- Ticket prices $2500 to $22,000 per seat on Stub Hub which makes the tickets the most expensive ever for a SB.
- Going to have the largest attendance in SB history
- FBI taking air samples for a baseline in case of attack
- Fighter jets will be on patrol
- Jerry Jones is trying to make this the best SB ever.
- The Roof will be closed for the game.
- As the home team in the Super Bowl (it rotates every year), the Packers get to pick which jerseys they wear. They'll be in green, and the Steelers will be in their whites.
- There are going to be 45 events around Dallas the next two weeks during the SB
- Downtown the NFL has setup the NFL experience.
