Willis was a stud. Did everything you can ask of a backup. He’s going to get paid by someone this offseason.Watson had a nice game, too.

The entire defense was a dud.

We’re in the playoffs, but does anyone actually see us going anywhere? You can’t win without a pass rush and we have nothing without Micah. The playoffs are unpredictable, so you never know for sure, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we have already won our last game of the season.

Studs:
Willis. He can't win it by himself but he damn sure did everything in his power to try.
Watson

Duds:

Rhyan. Is he just too stupid to know the snap count or what?
MLF: Shotgun on 4th and 2 inches?! We should have been punting anyway! Dan Campbell level of stupid there.

These two single-handedly gave them 6 free points and put us behind the 8-ball for the rest of the game.

I will say this. The Lions are feeling just as miserable as we are right now. And the Vikings have to be shooting themselves in the foot. But I think either one would be a better playoff representative than us.
What is ironic is that the Ravens season likely ends tomorrow and do not go to the playoffs. And yet after such an abysmal performance and potential 4 game losing streak they let the Packers in it. Seems unfair. We don't deserve it.

As a Packer, Willis now has 959 yards for 6 TDs and 0 INTs and has completed 83 of 96 pass attempts. He also has 321 rushing yards and 3 rushing TDs. He's also only been sacked 4 times. That's in roughly 16 quarters of play, and in one of those games he was only allowed to throw a few times.

If I was Gute I would be racking my brain trying to do everything I could to keep him. It's a shame we're most likely going to let our best QB just walk away for nothing. There is NOTHING Love can do that Willis can't and a lot Willis does that Love can't. We can't even use the RPO portion of the playbook with Love because nobody in their right mind actually thinks he"s a running threat.

And yes, you can disagree if you want, but for me, I've finally seen enough to know I'd rather have Willis lead my offense than Love. Literally, what more could you want in a QB?

If you put Willis and Love out there every single solitary coach/GM would take Love… period. Every year some backup looks splashy and “fans” want to throw their starter under the bus. I love Willis’s effort but his future contribution to Green Bay will be getting us a 4th or 5th round compensatory pick

Oh, another dud. Damn injuries. I feel terrible for Hadden. A guy who is a fringe player just doing his best to make a roster year after year and his NFL dream is most likely over now. Not a career ending injury for a starter, but likely a career ender for him.

You're clearly watching a different game. Willis has a stronger arm. He's more accurate. He almost always hit his receivers in stride, and he can actually escape the pocket if needed and he's been a 86% passer for us. He also allows MLF to use the RPO portion of his playbook and he's done it consistently for 16-17 quarters of play against quality opponents.

Then the Ravens should have played better earlier in the season, don't you think? You can only sustain so many injuries to your pro-bowl caliber players before it ruins everything. If we hadn't lost Parsons, Wyatt and Kraft there is no doubt we'd have at least 1 more win than we currently do and possibly up to 3 more. That's football. But yes, we DO deserve to go to the playoffs because we won enough more games than the competition to earn it.

Wish Willis well. I hope some team gives him a shot. Raiders, Jets, Giants, Saints, Titans, Fins.

The Ravens suffered a large number of injuries after WK 2. They finally got people back by WK 8.

And we have a large number of injuries right now. The only difference is timing. But how does that equate to them deserving to go to playoffs but us not? The season is 17 games long. To me, Micah and Kraft are probably our two best players. Wyatt and Tom are in our top 8.

Love also has a tendency to float passes into the receiver just before the DB gets there. I'd be interested in seeing a comparison of Love's vs. Willis's YAC per completion.

I don't think I've ever been so disgusted watching a football game - well I'm sure I must have a few times, but still.

Yes, a few guys put in some effort, got to admire Willis. Other than that it was like the Grinch: Stink, Stank, Stunk.

Well we likely just witnessed the best backup QB since Matt Flynn suited up It’s bitter sweet for me. He just had a statement game going and had he finished that last drive we were at the Bal35 he gave us a fighting chance to Win down by 3pts.
Instead it’s apparent he wasn’t given adequate time to heal and he’s likely played his last game as a Packer. Thank You Malik for showing up and playing fearless!

Stud:
Malik Willis generated about the only great things we saw today.
348 Yards all purpose
3 TD’s
135% Passer rating
86% Completion %
(should’ve been 90% if not for Chris Brooks dropping one)

Dud:
Defense
Yet nothing could’ve overcome the 38 points allowed (I don’t credit Defense for a Packer fumble in FG range). The only reason Baltimore didn’t score more is the clock kept running with 53 rushing attempts for a near Packer record like 307 yards allowed.

Talk about a deflating game. Any confidence I had in this Defense was just obliterated. They might be the 1985 Bears going forward, but I haven’t seen that deflating type performance since either Colin Kaepernick embarrassed us or that Terrel Davis from the Denver Broncos ran over us in the Superbowl.

Dud: I think it’s time to accept the fact that there is a large enough sample size to say that Brian Gutekunst is a well below average GM.

His first round drafting is simply atrocious. Other than Love, who is being outperformed by Willis, his guys range anywhere from total non factors to ok contributors.

Watson is good, but in general he simply isn’t having the success with WRs in the early rounds that his predecessor did.

The whiffs in the trenches are adding up on both sides of the ball. Credit for adding Parsons, but pretty much anyone does that and the consequences of trading Clark were clear yesterday.

Injuries have hurt, but Gute simply hasn’t found enough star power. We have good players on this team, but we don’t have impact players.

Why? Because they could go and perform in Round One. We could be quite embarrassed.

Hard to argue with this red. I would be ecstatic if they won a first round game against the Bears. Anything beyond that is nice-to-have, not need-to-have. They have a good chance at beating the Bears.

What is strange is that the same D held Swift and Monaghai in check, but couldn't touch Henry. I think they are good enough to beat the Bears. MLF's job is to get them to believe it. That's gonna be hard after last night. Get right against the queens and hit the playoffs running.

A guy can hope.

Studs: Malik, it was nice having you. Congrats on the your upcoming payday and good luck with your next team.

Duds: This team is done for the year.
They played with fire against the Bears. That was nowhere to be found against the Ravens. Losing Parsons and then losing a game they should have won have taken a toll on the collective Packer psyche.

This team had to gin up some pride and finish this season swinging. I'd love a first round win against Chicago. That would be like a SB win, given all the injuries.
