I like Jackson. I just think Carlton Davis is gonna be better in the NFL and he is cut from the cloth of what you look for in a press corner. Davis is super aggressive and is a great tackler. He is very opportunistic in creating turnovers both by stripping ball loose and picks. I think he will be a better all around player then King and we can probably get him in second.

For his career has 3 FF. 4 INT in his career, 1 his last year.

He had more DPI than turnovers his last year in college...but sure, very opportunistic in creating turnovers.

1.73 10 yard and he has "burst".

Lol. Not on the edge son.
And Chubb isn't a 1st rounder to you?

Well you "Love Tape" and so do I actually but his burst shows up there. Very similar to Carl Lawson last year. He basically ran around SEC tackles. Now I know he isnt quite as big and strong as Lawson but he might be faster off the ball and in pursuit. Holland can lay some wood too. I just think he is a way way better football player then others that will be there in 3rd like Dorance Armstrong.

Chubb wont make it out of top 10 so not counting him.

Last year when I was at training camp King was about as "grabby" as one could be. They were able to clean it up and I believe they could do the same thing with Davis. Ive said dozens of times in here I would rather have a guy too aggressive and have to idle him down a little then not being aggressive enough.

That's a fair point. He still hasn't created a lot of turnovers like you're saying he did, so I'm not sure where that came from. It seems from reading on him that his ball skills are a weakness. I'm just not a big fan. Don't hate him, don't love him.

Carlton’s cousin told the son of an Auburn booster about his ball skills who posted it on his Wordpress. So that checks out.

Rashaan Evans looks like the type of OLB that will be impactful for someone in the later first or early second round. He's like a heat seeking missile to the ball.
Both Vander-Esch and Evans look like great LB's. I'd love to trade up into late round 1 or early round 2 and get one of these guys if they're on the board.

Honestly, I was hoping Vander Esch was going to stay a sleeper, but way too many teams want him right now. He's not making it past the Steelers and is probably going sooner unfortunately.

I'm not convinced this to be true especially if you include the tight end position as well.

Hughes might present an upgrade over Davis as a returner as well.

It might make sense for the Packers to add a tight end excelling at blocking but with Graham and Kendricks on the roster definitely don't need to use a player like Wolf as a receiver.
Both Graham and Kendricks are free agents next year. Wolf would be a late round addition that would be around for multiple years and be a bettwr TE than RR who we took in the 3rd. Would rather have Gesickie or Fumagalli but Wolf will be a solid surprise IMO

Graham won't be a free agent next offseason as he signed a three-year deal with the Packers. I wouldn't mind the team drafting Wolf on day 3 but there's no reason to use him as a receiving tight end.

Deal! This seperation thing on Sutton has been way over played. When you have a QB that is limited on throws he can make on route tree teams and db's figure it out and sit on routes knowing certain throws cant be made which gives the perception that a receiver can't seperate.

Sutton will be long gone by 19. Deal!
A rumor on Path to the Draft. Cowboys are trying to trade up for a WR. It's not Sutton, but Ridley.

The rumor mill is getting ready to get "red hot". I don't believe any of these smoke screens and rumors. Everyone has there poker face on right now and nobody wants to show there true hand.

The nephew of a Cowboys season ticket holder wrote about it on his Facebook wall, so I think you can pretty much put this one down in pen.

Can't believe the Cowboys would trade up very far to grab Ridley, he may be there when they pick. However, I hope they trade way up before #14, with a team that was set to pick a defensive player that the Packers want!

Maybe they will and maybe they won't, but a lot of respectable draft analysts have Ridley really high on their boards. He's #10 for Zierlein, #6 for Optimum Scouting, #16 for nfldraftscout (which is who cbssports used before this year), and #10 for Brugler.

Again, I get people's misgivings about him, but it's pretty commonplace to find mainstream analysts that rank him as a top 10-16 player.

If the Cowboys grade him as the best WR in the class by a wide margin, as some of these outlets do, I don't think it's outlandish that they would go up and get him.

But of course, it could be smoke. You can't trust anything this time of year, and yet some of it always proves to be true.

As long as Josh Allen goes #1 I'm happy.

and 4-5 other QB's, 2 OL, 1-2 WR's, 1 RB follow him off the board before the Packers pick at #14. :coffee:

I've been forwarding all of Brandon's notes on Sutton to Jerry Jones down in Dallas, no way are the Cowboys not moving up in the top 10 to get him.

I'm just hoping we hear some names we're not really expecting before our pick. I'd love to see any other Offensive players outside the highly probably ones go before us (sorry Brandon) Each player picked outside of Saquon, Nelson or the top 3 QB's will make life easier

Imma say it.

Guice > Barkley

I actually think that Guice is indeed a better pure runner than Barkley, but when you factor Barkley's athleticism and passing game chops, he's the more valuable prospect.
