I would have thought Melton would have been a backup corner before using him at wideout. But they were hurting everywhere. You might say our D did fine even without enough corners. But maybe the most crucial play of the game was the 3rd and long swing pass to Barkley. Valentine was not able to make the tackle. Barkley is an All Pro back. Maybe an All Pro corner makes that tackle and the Eagles punt.
