Anyone notice how TT and the FO go about it?

Besides just keeping the Tackles and Center, it seems like we always end up having like 1-2 "REALLY good" years with a consistent starting 5

Clifton, Wahle, Wells, Rivera, Tauscher

Bahktiari, Sitton, Linsley/Tretter, Lang, Bulaga

and then they just SCRAP it and they suck again?

What is their logic behind this?

The logic is that 9 million dollars a season is a lot of cap room for a starting guard.

It's a good starting 5 here when fully healthy. The problem is that they haven't been. Not even close.

Exactly, I'm almost positive if TT is still here they go o line as early as round #1 or 2. Bulaga has never been more than just average even tho he was taken in the 1st...nor has he ever been able to stay healthy. Now Bahk has become injury prone, and they just paid this guy elite LT money.

With the salary cap in place it's impossible to re-sign every productive player headed for free agency. It's a smart way to handle business not paying guards a lot of money.

The starting offensive line is definitely elite in pass protection. Unfortunately they haven't been able to stay healthy this season and the Packers lack quality depth.
