Yes, there were a few Steeler fans at our party, but the gals made it very clear, very early, that they did NOT like their quarterback in any way...

Anyone else have something like that happen?

I saw an internet forum troll this kind of thing repeatedly, and continue to enjoy the the gracious welcome they provide visiting fans of their Super Bowl (any?) opponent. Even the mods sometimes chip in against their own ToS. It's awesome!

Oh yeah. At the Packers bar we were at here in San Diego, the women especially did not take too kindly to seeing Big Ben on the screen. Pointing out that he was never charged didn't matter- perception is reality, and the perception is something went down and they didn't appreciate his appearance in the game.
