"Free agency is not like Christmas shopping," Thompson said. "Just because the player's fairly functional on another team doesn't necessarily mean you'll get all what you pay for if you pay him a huge contract."

Besides..who does he have to shop for......???

"We've had some losses," Thompson said. "But I think we've helped ourselves a little bit in free agency."

(Think again Ted...)

I wouldn't be gloating over this article...doesn't seem too flattering to TT...

Time for a quote from California Cheez:

Indecision is the key to flexibility.

No, really is Flanagan worth 3 million a year to the Packers?
Why sign Hutchinson when a guard can be drafted?

I think most critics are discounting the growth and development of the young players. These guys are going to get better.

Isn't possible that a lot of the problem with the o-line last year was that Sherman and Beightol kept moving players around. It seems to me that it would be hard for those guys to form any kind of consistency.

On the flip side of that, didn't Clifton, Wahle, Flanny, Marco, and Tausch play 5 years or more together.

My suggestion is to pick 3 guys to go with the tackles and stick with them.

 Finally! Thanks C.C. Guess it's easy for most here to discount all the palyers from last year and forget there were more than a few bright spots, especially now that there will be a substantial change in the blocking scheme for the "O" line. Never any mention of Junius Coston is there?
