NFL Weekly Prediction Contest Week 14

[Pkrjones]

Each game you pick the correct winner of: 5 points
If you pick correctly on at least half the games scheduled for the week: 50 points
If you pick correctly on at least 75% of the games: 75 points
If you get all but one of the games correct: 100 points
If you nail it on all the games: 150 points
And ..... If you guess both the correct winner and score of any game: 125 bonus points tacked on for each correct score.
If you've got incredibly mad skills and happen to guess every correct score of every game: you get a mega jackpot of 5000 points.
Only takes 1 or 2 exact hits on score to allow a new-comer right onto the leader board!

A lot of folks here are picking the Vikings to win tonight. They do get Barr and Kendricks back at linebacker, but I struggle to see how they can stop TJ Watt. Kirk Cousins is going to be in the fetal position all night, calling out to mama, and asking the big men to be gentle.

Not a Vikings fan nor do I want ANY success out of them, but with Thielen out I could see a decent game out of Smith-Marsette. Best thing Vikes can do is max-protect giving Cousins a few seconds to ****-dunk to SM or a TE leaking out, and taking an occasional shot to Jefferson mid-range.

Another great point. Cook is coming back from a shoulder injury but I expect him to run reasonably well. The Vikings not having Thielen paired with Jefferson will hurt much more than anything. Jefferson should be double-teamed all night, allowing the defense to focus on stopping Cook. I see a relatively low-scoring game with the Steelers winning.

This post highlights how little that I know. Cook ran for over 200yds + 2TDs. Jefferson seemed to be open a lot despite double-teams and it was anything but a low-scoring game.
